    I think I prefer this format of video, less than 5min etc. 19-20min is great for extended reviews but sometimes you don't need more than a couples of minutes for a few tests, quick reviews etc. Pretty good idea Pack Hacker !

    I bought a cheaper knock off version of this wallet, mostly out of curiosity. I thought it looked like a pain to use, but wanted to see for myself. I love it. I only carry about 6 cards, but haven't had any problem getting anything out.

    thanks for the video.
    however, the Titanium Ridge Wallet is not magnetic. carrying 6 cards is not cumbersome either and it comes down to technique when removing cards. this style seems labored.
    I perfer the cash strap over the clip because with or without cash the clip still has a larger over all thickness (OAT). With the cash strap, the OAT thins out as the cash is removed.

    Titanium plates are not magnetic. It's Titanium(outside) & aluminum plates on inside nothing is magnetized

    Does it scratch cards? I had one of the cheap ones and it scratch all my cards, I even have to make a new ID card.

    The build quality is good but it is cumbersome to access a particular card. Good if you want something that carrys your cards and cash at a minimum size.

    I don’t understand why this wallet is advertised EVERYWHERE. A minimalist leather wallet doesn’t require fumbling through a stack of cards like trying to show people a card trick at the register. Also, all the rubbing against each other just rubs off the face of all the cards.

    • @PackHacker2
      @PackHacker2  Před 5 lety +2

      Hey Starch Wreck! This wallet isn't going to be for everyone, as accessing your cards can be cumbersome, but we did like the RFID protection, security and durability of it. What's your go-to wallet? We'd love to hear what works for you! 😊

      The problem with leather is it will stretch out overtime making it a possibility of having your cards loosely fall out. Metal is also more substantial in the pocket so I know it's there all the time by feel and I don't lose it. The metal is also going to last longer for years or more (you can purchase the bands from Ridge), so you'll probably end up saving money in the long run too. You're right about the cards rubbing together though, but I guess that can be negated by carefully pushing in and out the cards and not overfilling it.

      @@PackHacker2 Not quite sure, I think the rubbing of the cards is the only con in the long run for the Rift, so if there's a leather counterpart that folds and prevents cards from falling out of it I would prefer that.

      @@bmar916 I own the Burnet Titanium Ridge Wallet. I als was concerned about that same issue. But after carrying the wallet daily for more than a year none of those concerns came true. and as for cumbersome, it comes down to one's technique on how you remove cards from the wallet. I find the technique from this video to be laborious. I love my Ridge Wallet. RFID, awesome Ti burnt Ti color.

    Wait so is it only worth buying if you carry 6+ cards or less than 6 cards? I tend to carry my drivers license, debit card, and 3 credit cards. So 5 in total. Worth it???

    If it gives you a hard time, don’t use it. It’s better to use a regular bifold wallet. Also what I don’t like is it’s made in China.

    It's a waste of your money. For over $50 for this don't waste your money. It's best to buy a leather wallet with ID holder. It's sharp sitting and it will damage your phone

  • @Porter4213

    Your review was horrible ! First off you have way too much cash to be folded in thirds. Folding the bills in half is more than enough. Secondly the cards do not have to be fanned out. It only designed to hold 12 cards max. Pulling them out and going through them is not that big a deal. And you should have looked into the warranty before you made this video Ridge will send you replacement screws (They actually come with the wallet) and an elastic strap once it looses it’s hold. All you have to do is contact them.
