The Goodwill Outlet is one of my favorite places to find home decor on a budget. If you are trying to decorate your home and don’t want to break the bank, I love how far you can stretch your dollar at the Goodwill outlet.Another thing I love about it is that something from Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, or West Elm is not going to cost any more than an item laying right next to it from the dollar store. I tried the Goodwill Outlet store in Austin, Texas this morning. What a nightmare. There were people “camped out” on the edges of the store with chairs and carts filled. There was a call for new bins opening and it was a stampede. The bins were full of broken and filthy things. It was pretty nasty, and I am one of the most down to earth people you would meet in a day. I am not a “high maintenance” person. The lady at the checkout told me that these same people come in every morning, stay all day, and check out at closing time only to be back the next day. I love thrift shopping, estate sales, etc. But I won’t ever be going back there. I am jealous of your shopping experience. I wish mine went as well.

The quality of items you find at the bins is remarkable. I may find one or two nice items like this at my bins, never that many in a trip.

WOW, more great finds!! The black candlesticks seem to be a hot item right. I follow many designers and they all have them. The little topiary will be perfect anywhere even in homes that you stage.

You always find some great stuff. We don’t have a store like that close. But there are thrift stores. My husband and I had a favorite one before we moved to another state. And we haven’t found one here yet. We did when we stayed in another city, about an hour away. We found my daughter a double stroller, she had been looking for, for $20. She used it for a few years. She had two small kids that were close in age. They opened one not too far from us. So we’re going to have to go check it out.
There was a time when we considered moving and I was definitely taking into consideration proximity to thrift stores. 😜 That’s great that you found your daughter the stroller she had been wanting! Isn’t that fun when you find those practical items at a big discount?! Hopefully the new store is a good one! 🙂
I am so jealous. We are on the east coast and your GW bin stores are way better than our regular Goodwills by a lobg shot. Our bin stores are the things that did not sell at the regular store so most of it is broken or stained or just plain junk!

Awesome Video & Finds!!! Please let people know that doing the "bins" takes a large part of your day!!! It truly is a time commitement task!!! Also, the "bins" are very physically taxing on the body!!!! Many people wear gloves because of the broken glass and dirty bins!!!

Our Goodwill in Hattiesburg,Ms. is just soooo high. Some of the things you buy I am like you paid 28 dollars for all of that and I'd had to pay more than that just for that oak mirror. I mean HIGH. I wish they would come off their prices!
That’s a bummer! Our regular Goodwills have gotten pretty expensive as well. I’m not sure how far they are from you but it looks like there are a few Goodwill Outlet stores in MS (Ridgeland & Hernando).

I love watching you go to the goodwill bins I wished we had them here in the uk 🇬🇧 we do have charity shops and carboot sales which I love! My home and garden are mostly done with carboot and charity shop items
