There are a number of Band Mai’s classics that didn’t grab me on the first listen. Moratorium wasn’t one of them. I heard it in a live show and the audience participation part in tge best Band Maid tradition just took over. This song is also one of the song that Kanami went full rock star as a long solo as the intro to the song in their European tour. It was one of the wildest we get to see Kanami performed.
From the just bring It Album 2017. Always been a fans favourite and back in the setlist after not being a regular in recent years. Four genres of rock/metal in one song- Genius. I think that the band listened to the fans requests regarding this song.
Usually my favourite song of Band-Maid changes everyday but for some reason Moratorium has been Numero Uno now five days in a row 😅 There is so much in it. Kanami is genius 🔥❤️ Lovin’ Band-Maid ❤️
"Don't dily daly"! Best use of that old English phrase in a song ever! "Moratorium" is definitely a fan favourite, and I can vouch for the fact it is spectacular live! I've witnessed them play it live three times now, and the crowd goes absolutely nuts! Yet as an album track it has never had an official release.
I saw the inevitable smile on your face when you heard "Moratorium". Every first time reactor to Band-Maid seems to get that smile during the song. Believe me, when Band-Maid plays "Moratorium" during one of their live concerts, the crowd loves it. It just may become one of your favorites after a few mor listens. That happened to me. To be able to sing along with the song, is one of its appeals and the Maids do a great job of getting the audience into it.

Moratorium is my favorite song from them since it was released on "Just Bring It". It's perfect!
This is actually one of my favorite Band maid songs.
This song and "Why Why Why" are two of my favourites to introduce people to Band-Maid so they understand that they are not a J-Pop band.
