- Finally things settled down, and I`m back.
An important thing about the Christmas group build, and some progress and wheel/tire sets. #xmasgroupbuild

Thank you very much buddy :-D
Great , welcome back!
Thanks David :-)
I'm trying to convince myself to post a video about the Weihnachten build. Ever since I saw myself on U.S. Armed Forces television, when I was six or seven (during the Cold War), I can't stand the sight of myself or the sound of my voice on film or video, which is ironic because I made a ten years career in the TV news business (behind the camera) during the 1990s. Yes this created a lot of problems when home video came out, most of my home videos of my family do not have me in them (I used the excuse that I had to be the only one operating the camera). For some (paranormal) reason your group build suggestion is instigating me! A couple of my daughters would be interesting in your paranormal group, wie können es sehen?
Well... Maybes its time to fight your phobia, and shoot a video :-D
My paranormal teams website is: www.paraweb.dk but its in danish.... But "Undersøgelser" means investigations, so at least they can see and hear some of our captured material :-)
Great to see you at it again and some super builds going. I would guess the orange paint on Johan was lacquer which burned into the plastic. You made a good decision to just sand it. On old decals, you should "replace" the carrier film to avoid shatter by either brushing on Micro decal film (very important to apply it within 20minutes while still pliable so I do just individual decal as I go), or if you cannot get that, use Johnson Future clear floorwax but let it dry at least an hour. Anyway look forward to seeing these beasts done - thx!
Thanks buddy :-)
Well, if I can get the white to cover, I will scan the decals before I put them in water. If they break up, I can print new decals for it. But I have to see, for the first time ever, my primer is having some difficulties covering the old color...
Nice shout out. I've never used brake fluid. I hope your time off allows you to catch up on things. I'll be watching
Thanks Michael. Well, its all coming along :-)
I used some non-toxic paint remover on a 1970s Corvette body. Not only did it remove the paint but it began eating into the plastic. Now I have a Corvette that looks like it has Chicken Pox/Measles.
Aargh, I`m sorry to hear that....

Glad you have some time to be back at the branch Kim! Good to see a video as well. I made a note about the #. Thanks for the video 😎👍
Do you have any idea where I can find 1/25 Christmas figures?
Unfortunately no... But try and search Ebay, and you can search for G scale, thats very close to 1/25. I think its 1/22.5 or something like that....
Thank you Mike, I appriciate it :-)
Good to see you back. Looking forward to possibly getting in on the Xmas build later closer to that time of year.
Sounds good, thanks :-)
Never heard of your channel and it showed up in my suggested videos. I think I'm gonna subscribe. I haven't put together model cars for a very long time. Maybe I should get back into it.
I think you should :-)
Welcome back. I just found you through ur xmas group build. I look forward to cstching up on ur content.
Thank you Mike, and welcome to my channel :-D
Just subbed to your channel :-)
So, you drive a school bus? I used to drive one, too, many, many years ago. After that, I started driving a transit bus and then moved up to driving a semi. I remember the kids that rode my bus were always pretty cool.
Naa not a school bus. Its a very small and private school, for children with speciel needs. I pick up 2 kids from their home, and take them to school. So I drive an ordinary family car, owned by the school :-)
@@kimskustomgarage9578 Ah, okay.
