That we are never just content in the moment, we don't enjoy what is in front of us, we just look ahead to what more can I buy, and put into my collection. I’m ok with either or regarding information about future sneakers. I really don’t want anything in 2025, so it lets me know I can save my money 😅👍. I have the J1 Bred Mids and I’m ok with those.
I’m focused on now but plan for the future, especially if it’s a rainy future. I’ve always said if I like it and I have some cash to play with great.
Lmbo I 100% agree... It becomes overwhelming especially when you know how people are when it comes to the sneaker game. It's like allow us to cross that bridge when we get there sheesh.

I’m totally with you!! It just ruins the fun, if a sneaker I like is gonna drop, I wanna know it only a few months/weeks before the launch. No point in knowing it 1 yr before. I hate waiting that much lmao
Love your point of view. I feel the same way with sneakers and still fall in that rabbit hole at times. I have to stop being emotionally attached to sneakers while still appreciating them.

TJ, that shit is so aggravating, and i couldn't agree with you more. It's like, "yeah, we know you just copped these, but look at these coming in 9-10 months." Get your wallet ready to continue to be drained, and never be satisfied with what you have.

Focus on the now, save some money and only go after the sneakers I want and don’t buy for hype
U kno I "watch" those what's releasing vids and I swear my brain starts shutting down. I have to see what's coming out month to month. I get it if you're really tryn to plan budget wise but I don't even remember what's coming out this holiday 😂

2025 releases is pointless to be honest. Got me fiending for black cat 3s and I can’t have it til a year later.
I started buying sneakers in the early 2000s when they only had a few retro releases a year, you only knew about them from magazines or every once in a while you will see a ad in the stores it’s crazy that they are already talking about shoes that come out next year

It doesn't bother me what coming out in the next 12-18mns. Let's me know whether or not what to buy. Plus, if you excited about you favorite shoe and you know it's coming out within the next 6-12mns, does that make you any less excited?
But this has been Nike and Jordan Brand model for years to study the market. They have to put out their calendars in advance to understand what consumers will like. We just watch Jordan Brand pull back like 10 shoes slated for this year to 2025 b/c of current hype and market demand.

I agree I had to pull back in some of the sneaker content because it really serves no purpose because you can’t get them now so why talk about it?
I understand the excitement of a long awaited pair returning but I think it does take away from the now
