Always headstrap. Never chest. But also hold it in my hand or put it on a monopod.

This is Georgia, but the obstacles are consistent across a year across the country. They do change some each year though!

I’m very nervous it’s in August I have very little upper body strength I weigh 235 I’m bottom heavy. I’m not giving up but I wish I knew how to train myself for this.
Just start small. Walk a mile or two. Don't try to run 5 miles your first time out or change your diet completely. There are lost of "couch to 5K" programs out there. You can do this.
Artic enema has gotten easier and easier every year.

What - they did? I did TM in November 2011 and it was completely full of ice and there were was a long barrier in the middle forcing you to swim under for a few seconds. The only time I wanted to quit
@@Chile914 My TM 2022 event was probably 50-60degrees. No dunking. A slide into a pool of chest height water. Pathetic.

Waters is usually 5ft deep. At most 6ft. Be comfortable in at least 6ft of water and your good.
