Hey Roman! This is a really great service you are providing. I was lucky enough to learn from some autistic friends I met online. I had a LOT to learn! (starting with person centered identification, “I am autistic, not, I have autism.”) And more. I’ve followed some amazing content creators who advocate & educate. You are now one of them. 👏👏👏
Hi again! I just wanted to follow up on my comment above. In a recent post by (I think) NeuroWild, the topic of person centered identity came up, and it turns out that some autistic people prefer as I described above, person centered, and others prefer to say, “have autism “. I did not know that, so it isn’t that either is right or wrong, it’s about respecting how that person identifies and wishes to state it. I learn something new every day! I hope you are well, have a good one ✌️
I like this. I have to tell you Roman that I can have a hard time speaking to people with autism sometimes. It is mainly because I am afraid I will say the wrong thing. I never want to hurt anyone's feelings. You are giving us a gift by teaching us what we need to know.
Thank you Romen I'm new here but have watched a few of your videos. My grandson is 2 and has been diagnosed with stage 1 not really sure what that means. He is slow with words and play and his eyes are his best focus. I look forward to learn more.
Thank you for subscribing. I was slow in learning how to talk too. I don’t know what stage 1 means. Just keep treating him like he’s smart because he is.
Hi Roman, I just wanted to say thank you again for giving a voice to those who suffer with autism. As I mentioned in one of my other comments, one of my great-nieces has autism. Brooklyn is 8 now and such a sweet girl. She seems very quiet and shy, but really, it's more of, she just doesn't quite know how to interact with others. On behalf of my family, thank you again. Jan
Thank you for watching and commenting. I don’t see it as suffering with autism. I wouldn’t be who I am if I wasn’t autistic, and I like who I am. Have a great day!
Thanks for sharing Roman! ❤😘
