I use to love playing chess years ago..My son who is 19...and has Aspergers has had many special interests...right now he is very into a game on his switch..he talks about it lots and hits me up to buy things for it..I will be happy when he goes back to playing pokemon lol...Have a great night!

He is better now, you reminded me of him in your video. I have him and his 2 friends to dinner at weekends, its lovely to hear them all laughing. My special ability is numbers / math. By trade I'm an accountant and way before I was diagnosed I'd sit on my Grandma's steps or be in my room with a chalk board and chalk and play "math teacher" and I would do math problems for hours. I love numbers and I hate when a number is written out in word / sentence form.

Hi Roman, we have 2 little dogs that we've raised since they were puppies. One of them is our son's emotional support pet. He is very attached to her and she brings him comfort and helps to calm him. I think if you get to raise a pet from the time they are very young it's a lot different. Our son does not like cats because they are unpredictable and he is shy around other animals for the same reasons you mentioned. His major special interest is Minecraft, although he does play other games. He also loves board games. His other special interest is plush toys, he has so many that we can't fit them on his bed anymore. Thanks for sharing this! I really enjoyed watching.

Roman this is an excellent video! I am Autistic with an Autistic son. He is 11 years old and in addition to Autism we both have ADHD and Anxiety. Thankfully our son has accommodations legally set in school for testing such as this. He too has the choice to take tests in a separate setting and he gets additional time to take the tests. Working on communication skills has been a challenge but every little improvement is celebrated. Always remember that NO ONE is perfect, not even Neurotypical people. Keep sharing your experiences. WE hear you. 😊😊
