In your honest opinion.. do you think the it was worth upgrading? $199? What do you think..
It is worth the price, and if you already have the n/zyme model expansion, it is only $99. However, I do not feel good about Roland charging their flagship customers to essentially make the Fantom what it should have been, upon release.
Roland's reimbursement on the $200 EX expansion is $100 for n/zyme owners, but the n/zyme model expansion is $150 and was released more than 2 years ago. Roland doesn't need to take that extra $50, especially from their flagship customers.
It is a fantastic upgrade, essential even. Roland shouldn't hold it hostage like that, though.
The piano, SH-101 & Jupiter 8 ACB and the JP 800 Zencore is worth it outside the rest u get.

Yeah, there really isn't much new with the EX. As fancy as it looks, most of it is the n/zyme from 2 years ago, which is why I didn't include those patches. The rest are split between the ACB. As I mentioned in the video about the EX hardware, while it is an improvement, there isn't much to it
