Driving On I-90 West/East In 1987 (Spokane)

Back in 1987, The Washington State Department of Transportation drove West/East on I-90 and recorded video to document the highway. This was part of a project that photographed/videotaped the states highways every couple of years. This video now resides at The Washington State Archives who were kind enough to share it.

5:24 The first exit into downtown (Lincoln Street). I like seeing all the different restaurant signs lit up at night: Frankie Doodle's, Dick's Drive-in, Arby's, McDonald's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc.

Night and day difference of how the traffic is. Flows so much better, wider variety of vehicles, and the vehicles have more function while still looking great. Also, you can work on these yourself.
