  • The Bürstner Lyseo TD590 is a compact, 590cm long motorhome with an unusual hanging garage which costs around EUR60,500. Together with the double floor and heating capacity, it appears to me that this might suit people who going skiing but others might think differently! The lounge is enormous - seating for eight - with a double bed above it. Despite the position of the bed, the floor is completely flat!
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Van life is my life.
In my CZcams channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow and others.
I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

I own this van (2015 edition) and it is amazing. The "garage" has drop down shelves which offer various combinations of storage for clothes or equipment. It can seat 8 people comfortably, which is great when inviting friends in for a drink.

Great layout for such a small van - perfect for normal/long weekend trips away with a bike rack on the back.
Plenty of hanging space and height for ladies to put their dresses or gents to put their Tuxedos.
Great alternative to an Adria Compact SL or Compact SLS slideout!

AskCuibono you haven't noticed on the Adria Compact that the washroom sink has no plug, and a permanent drain from the tip-up sink. As soon as you turn on the tap the water goes straight down the drain. That's fine if you are connected to the water mains - so long as you only want to wash in cold water - but it is no good in a motorhome. I would have bought one if it had a proper sink.

No need to leave the service hatch open during hook up Alan, Burstner employ a blanking plate system in the floor of the locker and you pass your hook up cable through the hole before attaching it in the normal way. Then you can close the hatch and your water access & electric hook up are secure. Good idea.

initial thoughts i think it's looking extremely good, perhaps finally a decent rival for hymer can 314 (or 550) that you showed a while back.
I really like the small and compact design but somehow they fit everything in without it looking cluttered, dinette seems spacious I mean 6-8 people when I would only have 1 other possibly max of 2 with me (to chill out and have a quick meal, not travel with me), wow! SO much room. Even the separated shower space I like, Compromise is the garage but hey, at least I can hang my suit somewhere, which I seldom use but sometime it is important for certain occasions.

Really like this van...although not to everyones taste, those drop down beds save so much space for 16 hours of the day when you are not sleeping- and just look at the spacious living area!. One issue...I'd prefer some type of divider between the rear passenger seats and the cooking area. A dividing wall or partition would be necessary to mount a flat screen tv on surely. Love it...but not in same old boring white please! :-)

@@VanlifewithAlan I'm guessing white is such a popular colour as it reflects the sun the best during the summer months. Personally I prefer a bright interior and a darker colour used on the rear of the van.

Again you don't show us the bed!!?? Alan you're the most famous youtuber now, if they won't let you show the bed or give you full access to the camper you should refuse to film it and go to the other brands...then they can make their own movie and put it on youtube.
I want to see the bed with you laying in it while telling your length and width...the bed is far more important than all those drawers that you like to show.

    • @VanlifewithAlan
      @VanlifewithAlan  Před 4 lety

Truus I understand why they don't permit it, however I know the boss at the company so I will ask him to permit me. However, if there are keys for electronic beds, then that could be very difficult. I am filming under extreme time pressure - we are let in one hour before it opens, often I have to compete with background music for which I do not have permission to use and I need to get enough material to last several months. In all, it is not very easy. The best solution would be for me to go to the factory but usually they don't want even to cover my expenses for that (not that I have asked Buerstner).

@@VanlifewithAlan The first three motorhomes I tried with drop down beds didn't work. Poor excuses were offered, which I found hard to understand. Then I bought a Rapido 600 with one and it failed three times in the first month, went back to the dealer three times and they failed to find the fault. Eventually I found that the Rapido build quality was appalling, they had not pushed an 8 pin plug and socket together properly and the person responsible would have seen what he had done. I'll get a German make next time.
