  • The Red Line is a very convenient landmass for the World Govt. and serves to help them reign over the entire world. So does it occur naturally or did they build it somehow during the Void Century?

**Luffy will unify the world by destroying the Red Line and thus rendering it ONE PIECE.**
*This is all connected to Imperial Japan's political principle/slogan of Hakkō Ichiu* (literally ''eight crown cords, one roof'' or ''all the world under one roof''), which means that the *Emperor* of Japan through his benevolence would *unify the world,* _this in turn being the reason why Japan expelled the colonial powers from Asia btw._
Also the World Government is a metaphor for the US+UN hegemony all over the world, the Marines being the _Navy_ and the CPO being the _CIA._
The destruction of Red Line will make it possible for Luffy to live up to his own ideal of what the Pirate King is supposed to be, that is, “the freest person in the world”, while also allowing Brook to reunite with Laboon, creating Sanji's ''All Blue”, allowing Nami to draw a map of the world and bringing all the ethnic conflicts and divisions we have witnessed throughout the series to an end. Mark my words.

What if one piece is like the snow piercer! Imu sama is looking for a successor “the pirate king”. roger was the last man to try but couldn’t really make it. Maybe cause of his “sickness” and after him luffy was chosen. Hence why the Roger pirates are helping him! This would also explain shanks going to see the gorusei. Since they are basically the same! If you know snow piercer you will know what I’m talking about! I mean shanks even gave aways his arm for luffy. Also if this is the case you would ask why would Imu and pirates be in kahoots? Because the world government need the pirates! Pirates are considered the biggest threat to people in the one piece world! The world government uses this fear to control the people of the world! I mean think about it if there were no pirates everyone would realize pretty quick that the government is horrible! Saving people from pirates is the best thing they do!!

Maybe it's called Paradise not because by comparison to the new world it's easy sailing, but because the WG created the redline to contain their own personal Paradise. The D clan was a noble family that cracked the red line open from the inside, and allowed others into "Paradise".
That would explain why they call them devil's... The devil was Gods prettiest angle who betrayed him and tried to over throw his kingdom. The D clan was one of the highest clans ( maybe even from the Kings line) who tried to over throw "God's" kingdom by opening it up to the commoners, or maybe just wanted to go outside of paradise thus making them devil's. Kind of like Prometheus...
And also, the new world isn't actually a new world, it's not like it was recently discovered or populated or settled.Maybe they call it the new world for the same reason Europe called the Americas the new world despite it already being populated and settled.

I really like the theory, but there is one thing that seems odd to me. If I remember correctly, then Vegapunk was the one who invented this seastone coating of the marine ships. That would mean before this was invented there wasn‘t even an at least somewhat save way for the marines to get from for example the Grandline to the East Blue. Were they just crossing the Calm Belt hoping they would somehow manage to survive? I understand that it would make a lot of sense for the WG to seperate the sea to make it easier to control people. But in the past they could not even control it themselves so well, because they simply did not get there to fight possible uprisings or revolutions...
