- Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Cuisinart Pulp Control Citrus Juicer. LINK TO Cuisinart Citrus Juicer: amzn.to/1QVduqd It will juice all kinds of citrus fruit and it is BPA-free. The housing is stainless steel. The unit comes with an instruction manual that includes some recipes. Remove the cover. Select low pulp, medium or high by rotating the cone according to the arrows. Place a low cup under the spout and make sure the spout is open. The juicer starts when you place fruit on the juicing reamer and press on the fruit. We’ll test the juicer with limes, lemons, oranges and grapefruit. I’ve washed all my fruit and they have been out of the fridge for an hour. You’ll get the most juice out of fruit that is room temperature.
Place a low container under the spout. I’ve chosen the medium pulp setting. Slice your fruit horizontally like this. Place the center of the fruit on the reamer. Place your hand over the fruit and press. If you take your hand off and press it again, the reamer may reverse direction and that’s normal. You could squeeze the fruit while pressing down to get more juice. When you feel the reamer through the rind, remove it. You see that the rind is dry and all the juice was extracted. The sieve should fill up after about one pound of fruit has been juiced. Place the cover on the unit and press down. This activates the fast-spin feature which gets all the remaining juice from the pulp and juice container. Once you see a slow drip, release your hand and the unit will stop. Turn drip spout to the closed position to prevent dripping and remove your cup. Turn the sieve all the way to the left, pull to separate. Rinse out the parts and keep juicing. The parts can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Rinse the parts before putting them in your dishwasher.
The cord can be pushed back into the base. The juicer is lightweight, compact and it is pretty quiet. You saw how quickly all the citrus fruit were juiced. It really saves you a lot of time when juicing fruit for lemonade, orange juice or cocktails. I’ve put the link to the juicer in the description below. Hope you found this review useful. I've had this juicer for a couple years now and watching this video taught me 2 things I didn't know. 1)Spin it with the top cover to get more juice to come out. 2) The cord can be pushed in!! Thank you for the video
Glad it was helpful 😁
I came here just to find out how to use those pulp settings
Great review and great introduction. A lot of details that very helpful. I have used my juicer for several days and I didn't know that I can change to medium setting till I watch this video. Thank you for teaching us how to wash and clean the juicer and this was very helpful. Great presentation and great advertising. This juicer presentation is much better that the one on Cuisinart youtube page.Thank You for sharing with us!
Glad you found the video helpful! Thank You for the wonderful comments :)
Thanks for the upload, very informative. Please keep up the good work.

I never knew about the pulp settings and I’ve had this thing for 5 years
that is why they say read the manual first.

Was given less I am relative. Cost $15 at Ollies.
I never knew to put the lid on and press for more juice and I've had mine for probably over 5 yrs !
There is a sticker on the front of my juicer that has never come off, saying it has three settings. I never realized this until now and looked up this video to figure it out. Mine was just sitting loose and has always been useful. Now that I have clicked it onto the base I can't wait until morning to see the difference in pulp control. Great video, pleasant voice, very well done. Thank you.
Glad you liked the video, Sue 😀
Thank you for an informative review!
You’re welcome! Glad you liked it 😀
Very satisfying to watch. I bet it smelled so pleasant there with all that fruity scent. 🍊🍋
😀👍
We gonna buy this today on amazon. So far this is the best of what I've seen online hehe
😀
Thanks! I liked the spinning function. I'll buy it soon!
+libertango Awesome! Enjoy the juicer :)
And Lemons 🍋 are great for water!! And you can put juice into ice cube trays and freeze. 1 day. Then take out and put Lemon cubes into Ziploc freezer bags and keep them for any time down the road to put in drinks and water!!
Best I have ever used is the Karmin professional power juicer
This is so relaxing to watch 😂
Great review. I was looking for a juicer as a present for a friend and couldn't decide between this one or the black and decker juicer. Hopefully the juice doesn't splatter when juicing a fruit. Though it didn't seem too in the video. I will definitely be buying this juicer. Its nicer looking and is quieter than the black and decker one.

😀
Great review from best kitchenreviews especially for canning fans, thanks so much!
I have taken the liberty to make it easier to remember how many fruits = how many cups of juice...and that should make our lives easier, because juicing by hand is painful for many people of all ages.
Juicing by hand or hand gizmo tools are very time consuming and a big mess, and this should make that prep work a walk in the park.
I know as a home canner of pressure canned and water bath canned foods I will really love this Cuisinart Juicer.
Enjoy everyone :).
Juicing Measurements Results:
10 Limes= 1 cup juice
5 Lemons= 3/4 cups juice
3 grapefruits= 1 1/2 cups juice
5 oranges= 2 1/2 cups juice
Enjoy everyone:).

I already did subscribe when I added my post, and thanks again:).
Thanks :)

I ordered this one today. I’m excited to use it. Even more now that I’ve watched this. I have been saving the peels of oranges. Any suggestions on here on how to use them? Any face masks ideas?
Hi, you can dry the peels on a parchment lined baking sheet in a 200 F oven. Some people powder the dried peel and mix it with yogurt and honey to use as a face mask 😁
Guys right now it's feee shipping on bed bath and beyond!! It's 29.99!!!
Best review of this product by far.

when juicing lemons does it catch the seeds so it doesn't go into the cup when it comes out o the juicer
Hi Nick, it did catch the seeds while I juiced the lemons on the medium setting. If you change the setting to high, for the most pulp, seeds may fall through into the juice. Hope that helps :)
Linda, parabéns pelo teste 😍😘
Unfortunately this unit strips it's internal gears out after a short period of time when juicing, especially when it switches direction right in the middle of juicing.
What is the rpm speed in this model ?
How much prise
Shoot. I ordered a proctor silex. Now I want a Cuisinart!! I'll be returning the proctor silex.
What about the seeds
It looks like at 1:27 to 1:33 that subsequent pressings did not result in auto-reverse. The reamer appears to have continued in the same direction. Can you confirm? Is there an issue with the auto-reverse performing consistently? Thank you.
+Yodaismycopilot Hi, yes it looks like that's what happened. The auto reverse feature is generally controlled by a micro controller and pressure sensor. If the machine sensed even the slightest downward force even for a split second, it assumed the reversal had already taken place. That is probably the reason it decided to continue spinning in the same direction. Hope that helps! Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
+bestkitchenreviews Thanks. Makes sense!
can you juice a kiwi with this one???
Hi, I haven't tried it but it should work since the limes (about the same size) worked.
Just out of curiousity....I know its purpose is for citrus fruits but curious if it will work on an apple....
+drawingangel2 Hi, it will not work on an apple 🙁
bestkitchenreviews Dang it.... I wonder if a pomegranate will work... dont worry about it... Ill experiment different fruits on it and figure it out. Thanks for replying!
Is there clumps in the juice
No, you can see from the video, there was a tiny bit from the lemon, but not enough to be noticed in the jug.
You can just was out the pulp instead of juicing that to of you want it 100% clear, but if any put slips through, it will be barely any
👍👍👍👍
But this model is…? Ccj500, ccj 900? Please…
Hi, here’s the link to the model CCJ-500 P1 amzn.to/44M26Zv 😀
