At the time, the Sandman turning human scene was the most expensive CGI shot in history.
Also, because the "goo" is from space, it's not accustomed to sounds or heat, so fire and loud noises upset it.
Not loud noises, high frequency vibrations. Huge difference.
Except the massive amount of heat it would have experienced upon entry into the Earth's atmosphere 😅

In the comics, Spider-Man actually couldn't sense the symbiote. That's why he didn't notice the black goo (symbiote).
He didn’t notice it when they bonded because it wasn’t a danger to him.
And afterwards, he couldn’t sense it because his Spider-Sense registered it as a sort of “extension” of Peter since the symbiote took some traits from him.
But if he was in danger when he first met the symbiote, he would’ve sensed it. And we know this is true because Kaine can sense Venom, and he is a clone of Peter.
I always comment this, but I love when the landlord is the first to notice something is wrong. He IS good people, and while he likes to razz on Peter, he cares about him and knows he would never intentionally do something malicious or lash out for no reason. He’s funny comic relief and all, but he’s been watching out for Pete the whole time.
Same same and his daughter like I could've used more of them, in fact did you hear that he was going to be revealed to be a retired Kraven???

I always believed Aunt May knew Peter was Spider-Man. I think she figured it out in the second movie after he saved her from Doc Ock, and by the time he came back when she was cleaning stuff out, she knew the truth and told him what he needed to hear.
She did as well as the large black man at the daily bugle u can tell by the look he gives him when mentioning spider man always does the right thing

raimi definitely increased the cheesyness at times here out of spite for the studio that pushed characters he didint want to do due to not being familiarized with, like venom. thats why the movie feels a bit heartless sometimes, like raimis heart wasnt all there, and it feels convoluted. but honestly i have embraced it over the years and its not as bad in my eyes as a lot of people like to put it. a lot like to deny but cant lie it has some very memorable moments.

To me...Spider-Man 3 is about addiction. Peter Parker turning to the symbiote every time he became overpowered with anger, fear, and grief. Also his odd and changed behavior, is exactly how someone would act under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They are no longer themselves and have no moral conscience nor remorse over their own actions. It is after he hits Mary Jane when he turns to church and to God for his transgressions and to help remove the temptations that are ruining his life.
The addiction metaphor was done better in the 90s cartoon and will be done even better in the forthcoming Spider Man PS5. Deny me that. I dare you

Also, the guy from the restaurant that was at the door in Spider-Man 2 was also the man from the first one, the wrestling announcer. His name is bruce campbell. Him and Sam Raimi are best friends so he always gets a role in all his movies
I believe Raimi has confirmed in interviews that in his planned but aborted 'Spider Man 4' movie, Campbell's character would have been the villain, and it would have been revealed that he was Mysterio.

Bryce Dallas Howard was in a ton of movies like Jurassic movies, Terminator Salvation, etc. Lately she's teamed up with Disney in directing numerous Star Wars tv series like the Mandalorian and The Book Of Bobba Fett.

You guys were confused about the black goo so I’ll try and explain it a little bit. It’s a sentient being from a different planet that communicates mentally with its host. they really didn’t highlight in this, but in the comics Peter is it’s first host and it comes accustomed to his powers so it mimics his powers and look with its future hosts
Peter wasn’t actually it’s first host. The symbiote race is actually peaceful, this symbiote bonded with a psycho murderer at first and then bonded with Deadpool for a few minutes on battleworld during the secret wars storyline. The psycho and Deadpool’s insanity is what drove it over the edge turned it crazy, as the symbiotes amplify the characteristics of its hosts, it became crazy itself, then Peter gets it after attempting to repair his costume on battleworld

Sony owns all rights to the Spider-Man and Spider-Man related characters. Disney owns all other marvel characters, except Hulk, who is part owned by Universal. Which is why there isnt a solo Hulk movie after the 2008 version.

The movie was supposed to have a much darker ending where when peter removes Eddie from the symbiote instead of Eddie coming out it was his skeleton
Tobey Maguire will always be the best Spiderman in my opinion! Some people say he's too emotional. I disagree. The only time he's emotional is when his uncle and best friend died. Also the love of his life broke up with him. I mean how would you feel if those kind of things happened to you?
He just has a goofy face when making large expressions. That's really all there is to it. It's not his fault or any problem with his acting. It's more the directors fault for using some of the cuts, if anything.

The black goo is a symbiotic species, so the reason why Peter seems to get stronger when he got the suit was because in exchange for allowing the symbiote to live on him, the symbiote gave him an increase to his abilities🤷🏻♂️😋
It didn’t “enhance” his abilities, it just made him far too aggressive and fed off of his personality traits. There’s actually little to no proof of spidey being stronger when he gets the symbiote, its quite a common misconception.

Not inherently true. He made the mandate for the third film to feature Venom. Which while not a good idea, it was ultimately Raimi trying to also shove Sandman and Harry into it that made it too much.

Not as bad as people who react to movies about historical stuff that everyone should know and they don't have a clue. I saw a channel yesterday that had reacted to The Patriot and they were surprised when the Colonies went to war with England. And said "I don't think they should have, you can't possibly win this war".
Venom wasn’t supposed to be part of this, but Sony insisted the character be added.
You more or less understand what symbiote is(black thing). Bonds with people, makes them stronger, but more agressive and etc. After bonding with spider man for long enough time it incorporated his powers in its dna, so basically anyone who wears it later will have spiderman like powers, but with power boost from the thing itself. Also, what made Peter use it for a long time in comics is that black suit was able to make spider web, in comics he makes superficial web and special blasters, so it was really handy. In comics Eddy is an amazing complex character as well, suit likes him second most after Peter as an owner. And yes, it is sentient.
I'm not a comicbook reader but i've watched A LOT of comicstorian over the years, Agent Venom is such a cool character imo, would be sick with a movie or show of that.

My Sis took her son to see this when it came out and she liked it and she had never been into superhero stuff She liked it mostly for the positive message it had
OK so it was only supposed to be about Sandman but the studio wasn't Sam Rami to put Venom and that's what crowded the storyline
But at least we got to see Sandman and Venom on the big screen and it wasn't that bad

the black substations is called a symbiont and it comes from the planet klyntar.. the symbiont doesn't trigger Spiderman spider sense which makes him and the other symbionts a very dangerous opponent to spiderman .

Bruce Campbell was supposed to play another villain named "mystero" but the studio desperately wanted venom in the movie so he had to subtract. Which really sucks, Bruce was in all 3 movies to set up his character, during major life moments in 1-3 Bruce/mystero is present.
And technically in the rami universe Venom is still alive do that the sample Dr Connors has. Dr Connors is another major character/villain. Rami made a mcu before it was cool and it's all so subtle

Topher as Venom was a huge disappoint for the film, but got his villain creds restored in Predators. Sorry, Venom was Spider-Man's Joker. If ya can't tell, I'm a comic nerd.
I'm on 12-13minutes. Why is it so hard to digest Sandman for you guys when you're actually watching Spiderman, a guy who's bitten by a spider and starts shooting webs from his wrists.

@@JeffZ1028 most action packed, incredible black suit + Venom visuals, Sandman is so awesome (his CGI is outstanding), amazing soundtrack, emo parker is so funny, love the 2v2 in the end, Harry's death made me cry. Its so rewatchable cause its so fun.
My only complaint is that the movie should've been a bit longer :( maybe a 2:30 or 2:40 hour run time since there were a lot of deleted scenes

We have the movie on the screen like it is on CZcams and of course uncut.
Long story short, Sony owns the film rights to Spiderman (which is approximately 40 minutes or longer of Spiderman content) and marketing of Spiderman films, while Marvel/Disney still hold the rights to Spiderman for everything else.
The reason why, is that in the 1990s, Marvel began developing higher budget Marvel films and needed studios to produce them, and offered a deal to Sony for the rights to the Avengers, who then turned them down and instead only got Spiderman. However, something important to note, the film rights to Spiderman can return to Disney/Marvel if Sony goes a certain amount of time without working on/releasing a Spiderman film, which I believe is approximately 5 years.
The reason Tom Holland's Spiderman is in the MCU was because of negotiations between Marvel and Sony to have Spiderman be a part of the larger Marvel Universe that he originates from, which has worked out extremely well. There have been lots of ups and downs involving negotiations, but Marvel and Sony seem to have a great relationship now regarding Spiderman projects.
Fun (Possible) Fact: It's heavily rumored that Disney/Marvel offered up to $2 billion to Sony to get the rights to Spiderman films back, but Sony supposedly turned down the offer. (Given the Spiderman is considered to the most popular super hero character in the world)
Which is 100% why Sony will never let go of Spider-Man. Nothing can be done without Sony's approval. Some MCU fans don't understand the landmark deal between Disney & Sony.
Take the last 3 Spider-Man films. Sony bankroll the film but Sony keep ALL the profit!!! The deal allows Disney to make money from merchandise instead.
Sony will NEVER let Spider-Man go 😂 & I don't blame them. At the time they were the one's to take a chance on the character

For all it's flaws this movie still goes hard
