In this video I’m doing a fun collaboration with Marci from the youtube channel @MixitupMarci
I’ll be texturing and painting air dry clay with instant coffee and grounded coffee powder. Creating a DIY flower pot, vase, jewellery dishes and bowls.
I just love working with air dry clay! It was so much fun and I love the outcome. So thank you again Marci for this brilliant idea oft painting with coffee on Air Dry Clay, such a unique look.
Selfmade flower pots with a cute little plant in it also make such a fun gift.

- Instant Coffee Powder (from the brand REGIO)
- Bowls as Molds
- Plastic Container (as my inlet for the plant pot)
- Shower Gel

- Crafting Knife
- Paint Brush (Watercolor Brush Size 8)

i hv a question please, if I try this one and make it for a plate or glass for eat is it possible? Or do I have to paint it first?
air dry clay isn't safe to be in contact with food sadly :( you can only use it for decoration

I think there might be food safe glaze that you can paint over it but not 100% sure on that either lol
@@javitot9137 do you know about plants though? I want to make bonsai pots but I’m not sure if they’ll harm my trees
When I was in HS(around the early 2000's), my art instructor told us to draw anything we wanted but using a unique and personal way. Everyone was going for charcoal, natural pigments and some seed extracted color too. I chose make up and coffee. Our instructor asked me what I used because he liked the color combinations and he said he liked the idea of using coffee and that he will try it himself. I was so proud of that at that time. 😁😁😊😊

The coffee grain idea is great. We could use ground spices as well like cinnamon!
