Can Gyarados beat pokemon emerald

  • Hello everybody, today i'll play thorugh pokemon emerald using only a Gyarados .
    Rules:
    1) I'm only allowed to use the starter in combat;
    2) I'm not allowed to use items in battle;
    3) I can't raise evasion;
    4) I can't use glitches or cheats.

    Gyarados is a staple for any team, especially in nuzlockes it's very versatile and intimidate is a very useful ability, even though in solo runs it tends to not shine so often.
    It's major drawback is the 4 times weakness to electric, which Watson is known for ,made it's major time loss ,but in end Gyarados is a very intuitive pokemon to route out in every gen,and emerald is not exception.😊

      yea garrydos was quite good, if it lerned dragon dance earlier (around 30) it would have been perfect for watson and i am sure it could have finished the game with no resets

      @@Kronaast Probably, even though dragon dance is useful for only a few moves in gen 3,but could have boosted tackle or thrash if that was the case. I'm sure if these moves would have triggered static. But in theory with a bit of luck on your side, that could have been a viable outcome.
