You're the 7th or 8th reviewer comparing these two phones from two different segments.
Also. Nobody is talking about the cons of 50 pro? Why were the same reviewers so heavily criticizing nothing for providing ufs 2.2 and ddr4x in 24k whereas nobody is even uttering a word about the under par performance of moto according to the 32k price tag?
What about the LTPO panel on 12r? Forgot to mention?
No mention about the display protection? Gorila glass victus 2 on 12r wheareas there's still no official confirmation about 50 pro's protection.
The only thing in which moto goes ahead is the cameras and i appreciate it.
But in all other dimensions, 12r remains quite ahead.
Be it the better LTPO panel,better battery, better performance, better software support knowing how slow moto is when it comes to updates,also the after sales service experience.
And tbh, it's evident that the 12r come out to be better being 8-9k more expensive.
But the thing is instead of comparing 50 pro with it's competitors like poco x6 pro,iqoo neo 7/9 pro, nothing phone 2,nord 3 etc. everyone got into comparing it with the 40k device.
Now if someone who's willing to spend 40k for 12r, why would the same person go for edge 50 pro for a degraded overall experience even if it's 8k cheaper?
I'm going to paste this comment in every single reviewer's comment section who's been comparing these 2 devices while being so biased.
If you're getting paid just mention it. The audience won't even mind it.
If you think logically with the brain. Build Quality, Camera overall ( Except Telephoto Lens) , Battery (Huge difference), Performance( Almost 2x better) , Storage Type and Ram type, Software Updates ( Most of the moto phones are running Android 13 still). Most of the valuable things are better on OnePlus. You will get a much better phone by adding some money if you have. But people are thinking these are unbiased comparisons.
Absolutely right , all these tech reviewers are praising moto in every single fck"ng video and not talking about the cons , also not comparing with the same segment phone .And yeah if you have noticed in the moto ad. almost all big reviewers are there so it's clear all these reviews are sponsored by moto

@@fa14bi-78 don't just compare 2.2 and 3.1 on paper. In real life usage, the 2.2 will get slower as the phone ages while the 3.1 will still hold it's speeds. These reviewers have just brainwashed people that there's no difference between 2.2 and 3.1. if that was the case then no company would've gone for 3.1 in the first place. There's a reason 3.1 is used more in the upper midrange segment.
Even Nord ce 4 at 25k comes with it.
Motorola has done a great job...the only thing they need now is regular proper software updates and fixing of bugs...and they'ld surely rule this price range
Agreed, my edge 30pro has screen flickering issue when on auto refresh, has some network connectivity issue after A13 update, still no bug fix from moto since 1 year.

Once people recognize the value of display out over Type-C, whole perception of the Edge 50 Pro will change.
Now Android is greatly capable of emulation like PS2 emulation or full on Linux emulation but most flagship killers are stuck with a tiny screen without any display out. People are missing out!
This is why I love my S20 FE 5G, the Moto Edge 50 Pro carries the same DNA as the S20 FE 5G with Snapdragon, good price, 3x telephoto and display out over Type-C.

Just saying. Why all youtubers are comparing moto edge 50 pro with oneplus 12r? Oneplus is clearly more expensive. So in battery life/ performance/ fit and finish will be better than moto. Moto only has 1 advantage, it arguably has better camera with IP rating. Just for that this comparison isn't worth it.
while moto is less expensive, they both come under same price segment. i think you don't know about price segments..
Think about it: at 10k less, moto is still able to compete with the 40k phone

Definitely moto edge 50 pro as it's much cheaper and offers a lot of flagship features at that price. Just hope that moto fixes the update situation
I just brought oneplus 12r after using s21fe for about 2 year's. I'm absolutely loving this device. S21fe has ip68, 3x telephoto camera, 3.2 usb and wireless charging but after buying 12r i figured I don't care about those features. Telephoto sometimes comes in handy tho but still the details of primary camera compensate for it and don't forget about the LTPO 4.0 on 12r. It basically has the same display as 12
I used to hate colour os but now the things are different. Oxygen os has the best Android experience right now. Its the smoothest ui i ever used. The animations feels as polished as ios. I'm getting 9 hour's of screen on time consistently. So guys even though Motorola has stock Android, oxygen os will give you far better experience. My mom has Motorola. I didn't like it. Animations are incomplete and it's not smooth maybe its the processor difference
I brought the grey matte version of 12r. It looks stunning with the curved screen. When tou hold it you can feel the price difference. The matte grey kinda sparkles. I love it

@@priyam3361@priyam3361 if you have brain that I highly doubt first price difference is not just 1k-2k it's more than 10k, secondly other than performance which is not at all bad in Moto its really good even you can play genshin impact on this phone with good fps. But moto phone have better cameras both rear ,and selfie and also biggest important feature is 50 watt wire less charging which you don't even see in Samsung ultra 24 and also 10watt reverse charging.Also ip 69 ratings with 1.5k curved display which is awesome and build quality is also premium.So if you have brain you will save 10k and still get a better overall phone.
@@Dream11KaBoss I used a Samsung phone with all those features. In reality I never used any of those. It has wireless charging but I never charged my device wirelessly in 2 years. It has ip68, i never even once put my device inside a jar of water because I'm not that confident in those rating. I find only telephoto useful that too very rarely. So I'd say even though the Motorola has all these features, you shouldn't buy that device just because of that. Probably you'll never used any of that features.
It's a very good device but it's not comparable to OnePlus 12r. Because the experience will be very different. It's different price segment. 12r will obviously feel more premium and fast. It'll last longer than Motorola and will get timely updates. So if you can add a few more money, it's better to buy a device with flagship chipset
This comparison is like comparing iphone with an Android with half the price. Even through the Android might have better features, at the end iphone will be much powerful and premium and it'll have it's buyers
Did you mention the 50watt wirless charging on the moto. That's super usefull and definitely a great feature for the price of just about 29k. And the 3x telephoto is the cherry on top. Total flagship features with slight compromise in performance. But not something that would disappoint as snag D7 gen 3 is absolutely a great chipset with almost equal performance as snapdragon 8 gen 1.
It's nearly on par with the SD 888, not the 8 Gen 1, but overall, it's still quite good. I wish more companies would use it in their mid-range phones.

There is a reason. I have been using Motorola Edge 30 Ultra since more than a year. I had bought the phone at 55k. Comparing my phone and this Moto Edge 50 pro, I am also impressed how much Motorola has improved.
So basically, Motorola has drastically improved its quality and value for money products in the last couple of years. And for this reason everyone is appreciating it.

i love and use moto. But this is obviously paid promotion by moto because literally every youtuber is comparing moto with 12r of another segment all of a sudden.
Moto really wants to push the idea that this is more value for money and are paying these shameless youtubers heavily.

4:53 that wallpaper features, I think OnePlus also has this feature because it's basically color OS. Color OS had this feature since Android 10. Even my realme 6 which is 4 yrs old phone has this feature.

This is April 2024. So since 5 months I have not received any updates for my phone.
My 55k phone resale value in Flipkart itself dropped to 11k in 6 months.
Camera is with flagship specs but quality is below the budget level phones.
But moto provides bimonthly security updates
Resale value of any phone is halved the moment you unbox it. And it's a freefall from then on. It's not gold to appreciate in value.
Also its not wise to install every Android update. Better wait and see it's bug free before jumping in.
I have edge 40 and I'm running on March 27 2024 security patch on Android 13.

@@priyam3361 performance doesn't matter much to majority, just the bigger battery is advantageous also it makes the phone hefty and some people needs comfortable phone where moto takes the upper hand. Also storage and ram type DOESN'T make a large difference. Camera is better on Moto (most of youtubers say so). If you're talking about software updates, I'll remain without a update rather than getting a green line on my screen😂. So basically imo moto offers great value costing 10k less than oneplus.

OxygenOS also generates the same set of wallpaper with different colour set using a photo. You need a photo first then apply it as wallpaper then check a button on bottom right you'll see it

Yes it supports 125 watt charging , but charger with this variant is 68 watt

OnePlus does have the AI picture to wallpaper option , it's also there in some of the older OnePlus phones too. Been using it on my Nord 3
