Let's be honest, the only real way to beat the Iron Golem is to buff Tarkus and send him in to do it for you. That mad lad eats the iron boy for breakfast.
With an axe and lot of crazy string hit you can make him fallo off the bridge. 7 hit required
My first play through I used the gravelord sword+1 and beat him on my own. It took a minute, but it ain't very hard. Just stay behind him.

@@brotherextreme I did 2. But I went from Dark souls 2, and then played Dark souls 1, i went to the grave yard first because I didn't know I was supposed to go up the cliff. And just kept going down, until I found the titanium denin grabbed the shiny, and got in the coffin.

@@Cloudes9 tumble buffing is in all DS games. They just have different methods. Different ways to abuse the way action queuing works which is basically in the "bones" of the DS engine per say.
Well, time to explain what every weapon in this video is and where to get them. Don't read the rest of this comment if you don't want your fun spoiled. ;)

0:00 - Grant (Great Hammer) Drops from Paladin Leeroy when he invades you in the Tomb of the Giants after placing the Lordvessel. [Bonus: the unique shield he's using, Sanctus, drops from Paladin Leeroy as well. It heals two HP every two seconds but doesn't have any other special abilities.]
0:30 - Crystal Ring Shield (Unique Shield) Ascend any +10 upgraded shield with the Soul of the Moonlight Butterfly. You need to reach the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo to ascend boss weapons.
0:58 - Golem Axe (Axe) Ascend any +10 upgraded axe (not great axe) with the Core of an Iron Golem.
1:52 - Gold Tracer (Curved Sword) (Artorias of the Abyss DLC) You can either give Lord's Blade Ciaran the Soul of Artorias or kill her for it. Also gets you the Dark Silver Tracer.
2:14 Gravelord Sword (Curved Greatsword) Join the Gravelord Servant covenant by stepping into a special coffin in the Catacombs.
2:38 Stone Greataxe (Greataxe) (Artorias of the Abyss DLC) Drops from Stone Guardians in the Royal Wood.
3:39 - Obsidian Greatsword (Greatsword) (Artorias of the Abyss DLC) Drops when you cut Black Dragon Kalameet's tail, good luck with that.
4:35 Moonlight Greatsword (Greatsword) Drops when you cut Seath the Scaleless' tail.
5:01 Stone Greatsword (Greatsword) Drops from Giant Stone Knights in Darkroot Garden, or you can buy it from Shiva of the East for 15,000 souls. Note that the special ability normally causes a debuff that slows enemies to a walking speed and doesn't actually deal any damage. In the video a glitch is being used to cause the debuff to also deal the weapon's attack rating as damage every time the debuff ticks, which adds up to an incredible amount of damage.
5:49 Channeler's Trident (Spear) Drops from the Channelers in the Undead Parish, the Depths, and the Duke's Archives. They respawn infinitely in the Archives if you missed it earlier.
7:01 Avelyn (Crossbow) Found in the Duke's Archives.
8:00 Smough's Hammer (Great Hammer) Ascend any +10 upgraded hammer or great hammer with the Soul of Smough.
8:18 Dragon Greatsword (Ultra Greatsword) Drops when you cut the Stone Dragon's tail.
9:32 Drake Sword (Straight Sword) Drops when you cut the Hellkite Dragon's tail.
10:58 Dragonslayer Spear (Spear) Ascend any +10 upgraded spear or thrusting sword with the Soul of Ornstein.
11:54 Guardian Tail (Whip) (Artorias of the Abyss DLC) Drops when you cut the Sanctuary Guardian's tail. Also drops from the two Lesser Sanctuary Guardians if you missed it the first time.
12:45 Bonewheel Shield (Large Shield) Drops from Bonewheel Skeletons in the Catacombs or the Painted World of Ariamis.
13:56 Jagged Ghost Blade (Curved Sword) Drops from Ghosts in the New Londo Ruins.
14:45 Dark Silver Tracer (Dagger) (Artorias of the Abyss DLC) You can either give Lord's Blade Ciaran the Soul of Artorias or kill her for it. Also gets you the Gold Tracer.
15:06 Abyss Greatsword (Artorias of the Abyss DLC) Ascend any +10 upgraded dagger, straight sword, or greatsword with the Soul of Artorias. Note that you *cannot* use the Broken Straight Sword or Straight Sword Hilt for this as these will create other weapons.
16:23 Gargoyle Tail Axe (Axe) Drops when you cut the first Bell Gargoyle's tail, but not the second. Will also drop from the first gargoyle enemy you face in Anor Londo, but, again, not the second, for some reason.
16:52 Quelaag's Furysword (Curved Sword) Ascend any +10 upgraded curved sword with the Soul of Quelaag.
17:43 Dragon King Greataxe (Great Axe) Drops when you cut the Gaping Dragon's tail.
18:04 Lifehunt Scythe (Halberd) Ascend any +10 upgraded halberd or whip with the Soul of Priscilla.
19:08 Titanite Catch Pole (Halberd) Drops from Prowling Demons in various locations: Undead Parish, the Catacombs, Sen's Fortress, Anor Londo, and Lost Izalith. They respawn infinitely in Lost Izalith.
20:52 Ricard's Rapier (Thrusting Sword) Drops from Undead Prince Ricard in Sen's Fortress.
21:50 Chaos Blade (Katana) Ascend any +10 upgraded katana with the Soul of Quelaag.

BeAST_BOy Most of these weapons are being made stronger with “tumblebuffing”, a glitch which allows you to use buff spells like Darkmoon Blade or pine resins on weapons that normally cannot be buffed, and the Red Tearstone Ring, which increases attack power at low HP. You can look up how to tumblebuff somewhere else, I couldn’t explain it very well, but you can get the Red Tearstone Ring in the Valley of Drakes at the top of a ladder.

BeAST_BOy They can depending on the base damage and weapon scaling - as an example the Drake Sword is powerful early game because of its high base damage but the lack of scaling means it’s outclassed by a lot of other weapons later on - but boss / dragon weapons often have special abilities or auxiliary effects that make the choice about more than just “which one has the most damage”.
Also theyre cool as fuck.

It is worth noting that he's also using 3 buffs: Power Within (Pyromancy) and Red Tear Stone Ring, and apparently Darkmoon Blade. That's why he's almost 1-hit-kill ing the bosses, and not necessarily just the Special/Boss Weapon.

I love seeing some of those weapons get used to great effect, the Moonlight Shield and Scythe for example.
5:30 that's not a weapon feature that's a bug. If you have it buffed and used the weapon special on the stone great sword, it deals constant dps to everyone around you.
Also just saying in case anyone gets baffled later trying to copy this, the crazy damage is mostly his buffs, not the weapons.

Cheating is doing something outside of the realms of in game mechanics.... Sure it may not have been intended by the devs but it is do-able and possible and has never been patched out.
Cheating is using a 3rd party tool like cheat engine or SrmC Console Commands.... This man used purely in game mechanics to achieve his buffs and dps.... sure it's not conventional but its all being done within the game...
You get banned for cheating.... tumble buffing will not get you banned. The only thing From could take action against is patching the action out of the game. Which they never have even when made aware of it.... even in Remastered you can dead angle and tumble buff.....

I get that they may not be as flashy as a lot of the other weapons showcased here, but both the dark sword and Velkas rapier have unique attacks and weren’t featured here. There’s also the Iaito, if you count that. Still great video though, I can’t imagine how long it took to set up

Yeah, it’s a pretty bad demonstration video. The weapons are tumble-buffed, which means you can’t get a good look at them (Especially bad for the stone great sword, as it normally doesn’t do damage), none of the weapons are named, nor is it explained where you get them (can be confusing with Dark Souls’… *ahem* interesting smithing system), bosses are basically 1 shot, so you barely see the weapon at work.

Gold tracer unique ability is that you can use its 1h and 2h combos when using it in the left hand, otherwise it ha the same dancing heavy attack than the painting guardian curved sword.

After seeing the stone great axe, I’m surprised it’s not used more often
Too slow animation and easy to backstabbing position makes it weak in PvP.
much much lower damage and poise break value than just rolling with either Demon Greataxe or Great Machete. range is lower too, so an R1 that would be a safe distance away to avoid backstab lock with Demon Greataxe isnt safe with Stone Greataxe.
While the wakeupe R2 is usabel, you aren’t gonna bait anyone that actually knows what that weapon is/does, or even worse, they’ll poise/ninjaroll backstab you out of it.

Quick question. How did Tranquil Walk of Peace from the Stone Greatsword deal DOT damage? I've never used it so I'm unaware if there's a setup for this or if it's something innate to the weapon and the various self-buffs make it do crazy damage. Thanks in advance
