Ging didnt just abandon his child, he still managed to impact Gon's life positively. Apart from giving him a home, a loving mother and grandmother to raise him, he gave Gon someone to look up to and best of all, a goal that led Gon to go on a life changing journey. Ging is much better than an actual absent father who offer their child nothing.

I don't think killua is old enough to understand how messed up ging abandoning gon is. Especially with the way he's been raised he probably doesn't realize it's not normal. His parents left him alone at the battle tower thing when he was 6yo so to him ging leaving his son and having him chase him probably sounds like something his own parents would do.

we don't know about the conditions in which alluka was born. only thing that made people think she is not a girl is a lot of weird translations in english of the family talking about her as an "it", and made it a "he". thats only in english. i don't know where in the manga or in the series is stated that all zoldyck children are boys, Kalluto is explicitly transvestite, yes. but Alluka there's nothing that indicates she is a boy. plus if it is true that there is something about all zoldycks being boys, then there's the comment of Silva saying "that thing came from somewehere else" so it's perfectly possible to be an exception to the supposed rule of all children being males.

The kanji used in the manga is the one who only means “kill” not the one you think (I literally copied it and checked myself if it had multiple meanings, it doesn’t). So yeah it’s misinformation spread by someone who didn’t bother to read and only heard the term in Japanese. Plus no Hisoka was not looking at their behind in greed island, in the manga he was looking at their full figures (it’s literally shown from his pov, their backs are at the center of the panel), it’s Gon and Killua who just feel uncomfortable because, well, Hisoka is creepy.
Do you think Japanese people watch anime for free? That's a big mistake. Japanese people watch long advertisements and pay viewing fees while watching anime. It takes a huge amount of time and money to make anime. I despise people who download and watch anime illegally.

Legal streaming services are limited in many aspects: - They don't have every single anime and the older/less popular an anime is, the less likely those services have it. - Certain services like Crunchyroll also have a myriad of technical difficulties (videos buffering, crashing, etc) - They don't have the best subtitles and don't necessarily give you the entirety of the episodes either. In certain cases, opening and endings songs are automatically cut out altogether. 3. An argument like yours can be made about studios that put passion into the projects they take on, especially when the studio is small, when the work they do is for a manga that deserves it or if it's an anime original, something that actually deserves the money. Unfortunately, that's not the reality: a lot of anime with low-level story-telling and entertainment value are being pumped out each year and some of them are nicely animated, despite the fact they don't deserve it or the money that comes with it, while many other stories that are far better do not get that kind of treatment. Big time studios especially are now going more and more for quantity, rather than quality. That kind of corporate thinking does not deserve the reward it's looking for. At the end of the day, you're free to stay a mindlessly obedient cash-cow for all those legal streaming services, but people, like me, who would rather be specific about where they put their money, know better. You can despise us all you like while we see you for what you are: one of the many reasons why many garbage stories get to be animated.

we don't know about the conditions in which alluka was born. only thing that made people think she is not a girl is a lot of weird translations in english of the family talking about her as an "it", and made it a "he". thats only in english. i don't know where in the manga or in the series is stated that all zoldyck children are boys, Kalluto is explicitly transvestite, yes. but Alluka there's nothing that indicates she is a boy. plus if it is true that there is something about all zoldycks being boys, then there's the comment of Silva saying "that thing came from somewehere else" so it's perfectly possible to be an exception to the supposed rule of all children being males.

Stop spreading miss information, there is nothing about "doing it with" in the sentence. It's "doing" meaning like "doing him in", killing basically. It's not some unique phrase, it's all over anime with the same meaning

@@luz_phillpGenius this is misinformation because of the pronunciation of the word, there is a word that means what you say and another who sounds identical that means only kill. The kanji used in the manga is the one who only means “kill” not the one you think (I literally copied it and checked myself if it had multiple meanings, it doesn’t). So yeah it’s misinformation spread by someone who didn’t bother to read and only heard the term in Japanese. Plus no Hisoka was not looking at their behind in greed island, in the manga he was looking at their full figures (it’s literally shown from his pov, their backs are at the center of the panel), it’s Gon and Killua who just feel uncomfortable because, well, Hisoka is creepy.

Do you think Japanese people watch anime for free? That's a big mistake.
Japanese people watch long advertisements and pay viewing fees while watching anime.
It takes a huge amount of time and money to make anime.
I despise people who download and watch anime illegally.
1. Many people do not have access to legal streaming services and/or cannot afford them.
2. Legal streaming services are limited in many aspects:
- They don't have every single anime and the older/less popular an anime is, the less likely those services have it.
- Certain services like Crunchyroll also have a myriad of technical difficulties (videos buffering, crashing, etc)
- They don't have the best subtitles and don't necessarily give you the entirety of the episodes either. In certain cases, opening and endings songs are automatically cut out altogether.
3. An argument like yours can be made about studios that put passion into the projects they take on, especially when the studio is small, when the work they do is for a manga that deserves it or if it's an anime original, something that actually deserves the money. Unfortunately, that's not the reality: a lot of anime with low-level story-telling and entertainment value are being pumped out each year and some of them are nicely animated, despite the fact they don't deserve it or the money that comes with it, while many other stories that are far better do not get that kind of treatment. Big time studios especially are now going more and more for quantity, rather than quality. That kind of corporate thinking does not deserve the reward it's looking for.
At the end of the day, you're free to stay a mindlessly obedient cash-cow for all those legal streaming services, but people, like me, who would rather be specific about where they put their money, know better. You can despise us all you like while we see you for what you are: one of the many reasons why many garbage stories get to be animated.

Another problem is that LM has commented on incorrect views on the Japan-Korea issue. If she believes what third parties say without doing her own research, criticizes Japan, and illegally downloads anime, then it's only natural that she should be looked down upon.

Hisoka didn't ask Illumi if he could kill Killua, that was a mistranslation... done on purpose. Knowing Hisoka, you can guess what he actually said, I will not elaborate further
It's not a mistranslation, the word can just mean both things. Double meaning is a thing and has been a thing in the series before.

No, it isn't. Grandpa Zoldyck says the same word, "yare" (meaning "do"), when he tells Silva to kill Chrollo. The word can have multiple meanings as a euphemism depending on the context. I think people exaggerate the idea that Hisoka wanted to violate Killua in a certain way. It's more about killing powerful people being inherently sexual to him so he's indicating that murdering Killua would be orgasmic. It's still about killing though, as they're planning to kill the Butlers and Hisoka considers killing Killua in a later episode to enrage Illumi as well. The handsign is more of an easter egg to readers or viewers that Hisoka's a creep.
You just want to label Hisoka as a pedo so bad. Creep is accurate and creep is enough.
