To be honest I'm the proud owner of a gorgeous oppo watch v1 46mm Bluetooth gold edition updated to wear os 2.38 It gives me a solid two full days of battery life with heartrate tracking 24/7 and the design of it is just awesome. When I saw oppo released the oppo watch 3 and 3pro the 10th of August I was excited but in the end I felt a bit disappointed. The design of the version 3 is ok but it's so sad that they don't offer a bigger version of this gold modele. The 3 pro design is weird to me, (at least screen size is ok 46mm but here too I was expecting a bigger screen for they top of the line modele)oppo had really a great design in the past with watch 1 and watch 2 and in my opinion they should have just upgraded the screen size and offer why not a 50mm of these watchs in addition of a longer battery life. The watch 3 And 3pro are good on the battery life yet for the version 3, it is a kind of return in the past in my opinion... Who would like to go from a 46 mm screen to a 42 or 43? Plus on that version there are no ECG.... Hey oppo : why don't you just release the oppo watch 2 ECG edition in gold case and with biger screen and baterry life in Europe at 250e you will take my money.
i love your honesty, friend. I love these Huawei, Xiaomi watches. I live in the US The only hurdle (for me) is doing a sideload of the app onto the smartphone during the setup process.
Shame they couldn't allow international 3rd party apps and eSim support for carriers outside of China. I'm moving out of China next month and the watch's design and functionality is incredible
Bought the watch here in the USA and it's fantastic. But the app is in half chinese, half english. There are lots of items on the watch that are in chinese only. And the assistant is only chinese. The watch will talk to you while working out, but only in chinese. If I had known all this prior to ordering, I would not have ordered. Another big one is the fact that in the USA we use imperial units of measure. This watch does not support this. So I don't get fahrenheit, pounds, feet, inches, miles, etc.

When Oppo watch 1 was released for the first time, every single media person be it Tech youtubers or new channels all named it as either "the best Android smartphone watch" or "the only watch that runs wearOS better than any other watch " or "the best Android competitor to Apple watch". Even the Critics praised it apart from the fact that it gave the vibe of an Apple watch(which is a good thing). So if they released a new generation of that watch that can match the Apple watch(ultra or pro i don't remember the name) then wouldn't that make a headline too? Why would everyone praise the Galaxy watch 5 instead if oppo released a far better watch than that? The only reason is that the later oppo watch didn't launch globally outside China yet because it was praised a lot but most people just said it as an Apple watch copycat and didn't buy it, instead brought an older version of the apple watch to show off. This same kind of thing happened in the Indian market too. Oppo discontinued its Find X series in India because it suffered as people were tending to buy an iPhone x pro or S20 ultra for more price instead of Find X2 pro which bested out both of them in terms of camera and performance.

Lol for now it's just a Chinese market exclusif that's why it comes with color os...if it reach Europe or the rest of the world like version 1, it will surely comes with wear os 3. No worry.

And here again this os has part of its code based on the open version of Android I put my hand on the fire: color os Is just skin under it it it runs android and in China...it only have land based app specific to Chinese market. They don’t have enough manpower to provide software adaptations like maps wallets and voice assistance. Most of their engineers seem to be dispatched to the dual chip/os dev. Not enough manpower and money for software ecosystem dev. And since they don’t sell good enough in China, like Apple Watch good. They don’t want to risk it
Oppo, please release a 40mm oppo watch 4 & 4 pro for guys with small wrists around the world.. If not, the world's small wrist guys would rather pick the Korean's 40mm Samsung Watch 5.
If there is a global release I hope they wont release these version of their watch in Europe. The watch 3 is a return in the past regrading it's screen size and has no ECG...the 3pro doesn't come in gold not even a stainless steel version...and I was expecting a biger screen on their top model... Oppo design and marketing teams are disconnected from the European market expectations I think. Chinese wrists are one thing, European and globale tastes are another one ...

Come on bloke, i own everything apple at home. But even i can admit apple watch is not even close to the most "powerful" smartwatch ever made. They are years behind samsung which has far more features, far better battery and more accurate sensors. Series 8 is literally identical to the the series 6. The Garmin Epix is leagues ahead of apple also. Popular doesn't equal powerful.

Piece of crap watch. I had it for about one and a half year. I got the global version for Android with Wear OS. The stupid watch kept interfering with my other blue tooth devices. I just got fed up this very moment and smashed it on the floor several times. $300 I paid for that piece of crap. DON'T BUY IT!!! There's practically no technical support for this trash.
