TRACKS met #CharliXCX to talk about her carreer, #Pop, self-doubt and #autotune as a songwriting enhancement tool.
Charli sold over 18 million records and has been writing hit after hit after hit for over 7 years. Everyone knows her songs "I Love It" (Icona Pop) and "Fancy" (Iggy Azalea). Yes, and she also co-wrote this summer's most streamed song, #Senorita for Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
After fning her own voice via collaborating with the PC Music Camp (#SOPHIE, A.G. Cook) on a few mixtapes and EP she now combines her talent for catchy melodies and her love for avant-garde sound production on her latest album "Charli", collaborating with #Lizzo, Christine & the Queens, HAIM and Sky Ferreira.
In our opinion the best pop album of 2019!

this interview got me real sad. seems like she's constantly struggling with her label's pressure and a general public perception that she's not good enough to be top 40. that's bullshit, charli is a queen and literally she makes my days so much better thanks to her music. she deserves the world.

Ich war in Hamburg! Es war gut aber die Stimmung war leider typisch "deutsch". Dann war ich nochmal auf der gleichen Show in Barcelona und was ich da erlebt habe, war das Beste, was ich in meinem ganzen Leben erlebt habe! Es braucht keine große Show, Charli's Präsenz auf der Bühne und der der energieaustausch zwischen Fans und ihr ist UNGLAUBLICH! Ich werde grad zu einem richtig harten Fan :D ok, seit 2016 (Vroom Vroom war der Auslöser)

Ich meine ja ich hab auch manche Sequenzen mit meinem Handy gefilmt, aber ich bin doch nicht auf einem Konzert um dann die ganze Zeit auf den Bildschirm zu starren 😂 das werde ich nie verstehen :D Dorian fand ich auch besser als erwartet! In Barcelona war Danny L Harle als Voract, das war auch mega. Wurde in Köln i got it, shake it und Unlock it performed? Die Tracks (auf die ich mich so gefreut habe) wurden in Hamburg leider ausgelassen
