i cried with her :( meeting SOPHIE was one of the best days of my life, such a beautiful sweet soul. We love you Charli!
i still can't believe she's gone :(
@@babyboomertwerkteam5662 Her legendary sound & amazing personality will never be forgotten, we truly lost a sheer musical genius & icon 😞💔
She were a legend and rare talent itself! Miss her! So sad that I rediscover Charli after her death!
I like ur name.
@@lightyoghurt5861 yes you summed it up perfectly ❤️ just so unreal that such beautiful people exist.
It’s both touching and heartbreaking the way she talks about SOPHIE in the present tense.
Who's sophie fill me in
@@user-pm5zy1ml4n sophie was a producer and musician who was a part of the collective PC music, who are the collective mainly known for basically pioneering and changing how electronic music sounds completely, and she was the main reason charli went in such an experimental direction after 2014.
The level of legend that she is... a true artist, a queen, a visionary, a business woman, a pop star... the impact of her music on pop culture, god I just love her and love watching her in interviews like this I always learn something from her, she's so inspiring, a true icon of this days, periodt.
Periodt girl
Yes 💜
PLUS she sound like the sweetest person ever, and she's never had any drama
@@hannacsuka2755 exactly
Yes, love her. An example for a good artist who the world needs!
Don't know why this made me so emotional? It's just so, relatable. So real, so honest. I'm in my late twenties, and sometimes it's hard to find people to relate to who doesn't feel like they figured it all out already. But Charli really showed a vulnerable side here, and I love her for that. Can't wait for the new album
Felt this
No one has it all figured out already. Everyone has a front. The more you learn about human nature the better you will understand yourself too!
I'm so moved by the way Charli talked about Sophie !
I started crying when she teared up
WOW, I'd never though I'd see Charli crying. I've watched so many interviews with her and this is actually the first time I'm seeing it. Such a powerful artist and human. I love her.
Sis what her documentary "Alone Together". She's crying often, very emotional queen 🥰
Last March when she did the bandsintown concert the interviewer asked her about sophie and she cried so hard. It was seriously heartbreaking
@@beccastrobel8425 i cant even imagine having to simultaneously mourn the loss of an incredibly close friend and collaborator in the public eye while continuing to work and do all that's involved w being a fkn pop star oh my god charli 😥
love the conversation, but hearing her speak about Sophie at the end really got to me... there's nothing to think twice about: we'll never have another Sophie. We can mourn her, but her message, art, and energy will be here forever.... and that's just so beautiful. A.G. has talked about how he can summon Sophie in his mind for conversation and advice (a memory-reflection of her), so it was really amazing hearing Charli echo his words: "what would Sophie think about this?" She's still with them & she's still with us too, even if she's not in our world....
We're very lucky to have her in our lifetime. She's been so important to us in a way some of us won't even realise until we're older.
Absolutely history will treat charli well
Exactly she’s amazing
Charli, SOPHIE & AG changed my life and touched my heart. I will FOEVER be grateful for the art they shared. 💞
this was the best xcx interview i’ve ever watched. my love for this creative is infinite!!!
Zane Lowe is such a great interviewer. The way he makes artists feel listened to and validated is unparalleled compared to any late night talk show host. Almost every artist he talks to likes him for a reason. You can tell he genuinely cares about artists and wants them to feel heard and understood as people and not just an artist.
He’s such a catch for Apple Music, I’ve never heard a better interviewer who really UNDERSTANDS artists.
Yeah him and Nardwuar are the best in the game
I love him his questions are so pertinent and he's very passionnate
he's cringe af

I cried with her and for her and everyone who knew SOPHIE personally. I never got the grace of seeing her in person, and it still crushed me. The strength this woman has is incredible
She is a visionary whose work will be studied for years to come, hearing her talk about her creativity being more powerful than fear gave me chills
She is so self-aware. Love the album so much!
And her confidence! I need some of that to myself.
i could've listened to them talk for hours. you can tell this is such a monumental record for charli & i can't wait to hear it in full tonight!!!!
I'm so obsessed with the dynamic between these two. Zane is such a good interviewer, and Charli so incredibly real and likeable.
This interview is a raw, introspective, beautiful moment in time. None of us have figured out what this all means, but we are all in this together!
I’m 70 and I love her. She’s incredibly talented and the biggest thing; she shines as a human in her interviews. Her documentary made me like her even more. She’s wonderful
i knew i'd be crying the second they started talking about sophie. the way they both changed the world is something...
Charli is such a visionary and has changed the music industry in a way few artists can. I wanted to give her a hug so bad when she started crying. I hope she can find a lot of happiness in the future and continue to be creative in things that make her happy.
Love this interview. Charli deserves her moment!!
She's an icon, she's a legend, and she is the moment.
"The perfect Charli XCX album" really sums it all up nicely
Powerful interview. Good to see her be vulnerable and honest. They have great chemistry together. Album is fantastic!
Amazing interview Zane, it was obvious she felt seen and understood as an artist and human being. I feel like i understand her work that much more after these 56 minutes. Thank you
Listening to the first song rn and my wig is already in orbit
SOPHIE is really inspiring, i cant imagine what charli really felt
I knew she had something special, she's such a great artist ....and after watching and listening tp this, it's even more clear an amazing person. Thanks Charlie. Wipe those tears, you're one of a kind.
not Charli tearing up 🥺
its sooooo sweet that she still has the feeling that we all felt with sophie.
She truly has changed music forever wether people know it or not. She is such a visionary and a great mind. Wow
Deserves the #1 spot
this album coming out on a virgo full moon makes an insane amount of sense. god
Charli is also a virgo moon in her third house (communication/writing/intellect/connections) which is crazy 😭
Jesus Christ, WHAT A QUEEN!!!
such a beautiful and interesting interview. love to see my queen having her moment. the Sophie segment was hard to watch... RIP Sophie
rip sophie
She’s brilliant. Truly so brilliant.
this is probably the most beautiful interview i have ever seen & heard in my entire life.
She's so raw and unreal. Such a underrated, unjusticed singer. Hoping for her to gain more commercial and public success in her next albums xx she deserves her break!
It's okay to cry, Charli ❤️
I’m also happy charli is moving on tbh, explore more genres, your voice can do anything baby
The new tour is amazing her best yet and she did stuff from how im feeling now
god i love hearing her creative process and what led to this album. she's amazing
Both these people are so present in this interview and the result is a very thoughtful discussion about the creative process and the development of the artist’s journey. Really rewarding to listen to :)
she was is and will be the future of music
SOPHIE did change all of our lives, whether we're aware or not
wow i’ve been listening to her since the beginning and this interview had me bawling. an innovator and emotionally honest queen
i would love for her next album/first independant album to be utterly weird. People expect hyperpop so she does something else entirely
What’s weirder than hyperpop? What’s gunna be the next thing. She brought up a good point earlier in the interview, every mainstream pop artist is starting to be genre bendy and experimental almost to the point where it’s become the new norm. What’s gunna happen within a year from now when all the major pop girls start sounding like her or Arca for example.
Like seriously what else is there left to do.
@@nextl3v3l99 is getting so over done now tho...
@@nextl3v3l99 she could make a rap album
@@nextl3v3l99 bjork stuff
@@nextl3v3l99 hyperpop is over in 2022. lol. it was over 2 years ago actually. it's not exprimental or new anymore.
I loved Boom Clap back than. It always been in my head. I rediscovered her 2 years ago from a song compilation. I always dreamed about that song and when I listened to it again 7 years after, I felt so nostalgic. That was the moment when I fall in love with her! She is the reason why I love music in every way. Huge thanks for her! ♥️
Started bawling when she talked about Sophie 🥺😭 the album so far sounds great
This made me love her even more
her view about all her career is so mature, im kinda emotional listening to all of that after being her fan for 5 years
Absolute beast of a musician.
She's one of the most influential artist of our time. She changed the music industry forever.
this is literally such a great interview im so pleased with everything they discussed and zane did a really good job of pulling some deep cut perspectives from charli. very great im so happy for them both and excited for charli's recognition
Charli truly deserves more!!! i hope people support her . She has never gotten her flowers!
I love her so much, so happy to see her saying she's doing good. I'm with her 'til the end. ❤️

I hope Charli feels proud of every move she makes in her career!
Zane Lowe interviews are always my fav interviews with any artist!!
EU TE AMO CHARLI, Sophie está muito orgulhosa de vc!!! assim como nós, os fãs. Obrigado por entregar sempre o melhor 💗
I love Charli and her music more than Gaga or any big pop girls. She is the most genuine artist, and her work is truly artpop, effortlessly, without big philosophy to it... Charli just lives for making music, and sharing her gift with the world, and that is so beautiful ♥️♥️♥️
This got me emotional. I cried with her . Love you charli ❤️
Constant repeat is wonderful
Just in time for my lunch break 🙏🏻
i'm still crying, this interview was great🥺
Who can cry in in front of camera has a real hart and real feelings. She is amazing does not act fake
I love her as an artist. I love her as a person and I will never not stand in her corner screaming from the top of my lungs supporting her
This interview is so fkn good
it was really healing to cry with her for a bit
i need to at some point meet her in person and just communicate how much i understand the journey and love the woman behind the act. charlotte if you ever read this you've changed my life utterly and completely forever, for the better.
