Classic American Folk Song sung by everyone from Dave Van Ronk, Bill Monroe, and most notably Lead Belly. In the early 90's, Nirvana recorded it for their MTV unplugged album.

It's pity that you do not think it is worth mentioning that everyone (Lead Belly, Bill Monroe, Dave Van Ronk, Nirvana) played the song in waltz time, while you are playing it in 4/4. No problem with your preference, but it should be noted if somebody wants to learn this song from your version.
