- Learn how to fold and cut a snowman paper snowflake! This snowflake has been one of my favorite designs to cut out for family and friends. In this video, I show you how to fold your paper snowflake, and how to use a hole punch and scissors to cut out a snowman design.

Just print out the template, follow the directions to fold, and cut out the black parts of the pattern.

One of my fondest memories of my beloved Grandfather was his beautiful scherenschnitte. We didn't have lots of toys or money so he entertained us by cutting us dolls and various things from paper which was very cheap.He always made garland for the tree from pretty papers he saved up over the year. We would watch him make the intricate cuts and couldn't wait to see the results. He made dolls, snowmen, Santas, elves, reindeer, trees, angels and various others.Thank you for sharing this, it brought back wonderful memories of him.

I tried this at work during my lunch hour. I think it came out pretty good. I didn't have the hole punch here, so I drew individual faces on each one. Such fun! Hate to go back to work!

Awesome to find your channel this 2019 Christmas since the paper ornaments are a last minute decoration. I can't have lights nor decorations that can easily be moved or half-way destroyed... long story. But this I don't mind working and putting for Christmas decor. Thanks!
