I am re introducing myself to quilling. My name is Kristine from San Diego California, but I make scrapbooks and cards & have family & friends that are very "where are my cards" if I miss, My point is the tweezers are a must. And I can put HobbyLobby, Dollar Tree, Michael's, all of those stores out of business...I have it all!! Good channel.
Gorgeous Meredith. I love making quilled snowflakes, it lends itself so well to the delicacy and symmetry of snowflakes as you say. Metal edged paper is lovely for snowflakes too, or even just dabbing metallic ink pad on the completed project or a shimmer pen. Thank you for the grid template, that will be most helpful. Thank you for sharing as always. 😘❤️
These are beautiful! I’ve made three or four a while ago but haven’t seen them made using straight lines and they are gorgeous! Thanks for the inspiration Meredith!
I love your quilling videos! Thanks so much for sharing your talent and knowledge. I’m planning to make a bunch of quilled snowflake Christmas ornaments for gifts. I would love to see a video showing your process for protecting your snowflakes with Mod Podge.
I just carefully brush on a light layer, but when anyone has a question about sealing quilling, I point them to Honey's Quilling, because she has loads of info and reviews on different products. You can find her page here 👉 www.honeysquilling.com/category/sealant/
@@ThePaperyCraftery Thanks so much, Meredith! I’ll definitely check out Honey’s Quilling. It looks like she has done some extensive research on the topic!
When you’re just starting off making your own quilling designs, there’s a lot of trial and error figuring out what sizes your strips need to be. At this point, I can usually guess pretty accurately, but I take a lot of notes when I work out the steps and still have to trash some bits.
The Snowflakes looked pretty it takes a little practice as I am a beginner. I also received tools from Amazon which I am not familiar with how do I ask for help when I need one.
If you’d like you can brush on a sealant. The site Honey’s Quilling has loads of reviews on different products for sealing. You can find her site here 👉 www.honeysquilling.com/
It may depend on how you’re watching CZcams, but the easiest way will be to search for The Papery Craftery channel and you’ll find all my videos that way.

How do you choose length of stripes in a coil?

You can always leave a question as a comment on a video and I will try to help as soon as I can.
Meredith what do you suggest i use to make the snowflakes stiff so that they last longer?
