For Log profile - is there some Lut for download ?? I have in PC Gopro Protune Lut but its too dramatical saturated color.
So I just got my very own GoPro 12 Black, and I love it. I have only had it for a few days. Thank you for this video I set up a lot of stuff because you were so informative. Thank you. I even set it up to my Cardo headset, which is awesome. So now I don't have to use my hands. So much safer.

How about bluetooth GPS support since there is no GPS chip in the hero 12 black? all that new Bluetooth chip supporting 4 simultaneous devices and yet no GoPro GPS remote available or planned...
Thanks That helped. Must say though, when extracting the zip and adding it to the sd card the update folder went into dcim folder rather than its own folder. It will not update the camera in this way. The update folder needs to be on its own on the sd card. Thanks for the tutorial
There was a mistake in my order, I chose 1 more Max Grip + Tripod, in fact I only needed 1 Max Grip + Tripod.

I just bought gopro12 last week, but too bad because I found that my Macbook Air (version 10. 12.6) doesn't support and can't open the video shot by Gopro12. 😭
Please move back the standard/high BitRate setting in the individual profiles. For scubadiving it is important to be able to switch since you cannot change the setting with the dive housing. Also, please enable more profiles for Max Lens Mod 2.0. There is no option in Max Timewarp to change to real speed as in the regular timewarp. Instead, there is only highlight mode. Maybe this can be done in the next firmware update. Thanks
What is the 12 that keeps showing up on the screen referring too?
Well the fun stops for me, AS soon as i try to Connect the GoPro to the App, my App doesnt find the GoPro, then a Windows appears trying to ASK me wich one i want to Connect, Not showing the 12 as an option. Bluetooth and WLAN is on.
Sometimes it says that i need to Update the App but it is on the newest Version ...
And now the telemetry, not having GPS, how do we do it?
Shame that 10 bit colour isn't available in Timewarp mode. I can't even seem to force it with the Labs firmware. :/
Hi GoPro, when can I actually update HERO 12 gopro to 1.10 to be able to use it? The Quick app already says "GoPro HERO12 Black is here" but the update just wont start downloading. Any help/news for me when it should work? Thanks!

@GoProTips I'm not finding the option in preferences on my HERO 12 Black to enable direct USB file transfer to my Mac, previous GoPro models I just had to switch the USB settings from GoPro Connect to MTP. I've looked everywhere, googled, did 10+ troubleshooting suggestions... nothing. Am I missing something?

Max Mod 2 only gives you 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 4k 60fps with horizon lopck and hypersmoth and max hyperview.
Hi team, I have recently purchased a Hero12 and cannot for the life of me figure out how to download the content from the Hero12 to my PC. I also have a Hero9 in which I connect it via the cable (supplied) to my PC, open the app and it automatically downloads. Whereas with this model, it appears that it doesn't have that same function to download manually to my computer rather than just uploading to the cloud when connected to power and the internet. Is this correct or am I missing something? I have tried swapping the SD card's over and no change has been made, whereas with my previous model, everything is working fine. I would appreciate the advice and help. Thanks, Tomo

Does this camera record without a battery and only connected to the adapter?
Maybe throw a step by step instruction book in the box with these things. Nearly broke the battery door removing it the first time. How the hell this can be waterproof to 30 feet is a mystery.
is it overcome overheat issue? (previous gopro failed when recording during sunny day in tropical region)
The only certainty is they took out the GPS sensor. Overheating is still there under the real life use conditions. Only in lab ideal conditions it has improved slightly. I tested the 12 for two weeks and it has shut down on me outdoors on my bike with a light breeze, due to overheating.
Next you should show everone how to upgrade teh Hero 11 to the Hero 12 firmware :D

Daytime you can use either one. Nighttime you need to match the local power grid 50 or 60hz

Where is a black hard case? Why did you remove GPS from the unit? Why is the unit not compatible with max mode v1??? It's NOT GP12, it's GP11+.
They said the GPS feature wasn't used enough so they didn't install a GPS on their GoPro, and it could save battery at the same time
@@fahmiramadhan3198 indeed,it could save battery,but you can disable the feature on your own( &still have) ; on such a case it does not save it? I do use gps on my GP11,especially while taking photos.

now i have returned the hero 12 black for full refund and I bet others did too since in their pre-launch not a word was mentioned of the lack of GPS. the GPS is used more than they think. instead of removing it totally, they should have offered a GPS Bluetooth remote for those that need it, and make money off that too. but let's see.@@fahmiramadhan3198
There are claims, that your GPLog is a fake and not a really real log, because transfer curve is not logarithmic and resolution is 16x16x16 instead of 32 like other logs eg DlogM from DJI? So please what ist fact? Is it only a marketing gag?
I have just received my gopro 12. But I can't connect to the quick app.... I have the subscription and have no trouble connecting my gopro 10. I have tried all tips but nothing works. Might have to return

It's the only company that l have ever dealt with that sells you a product but when you have a faulty gopro the customer service go's right out the window.......It's like we have got your money see you 😐

Does it really matter if it does not have GPS … GPS just chews batteries up in all devices.
@@RodSwansmad yes it does matter! it's a feature that many use and need to have a choice. you may not use it but I do. you could have disabled it if not needed, but for those that use it, there is no gps remote available. without gps it's a crippled old camera.
It should be called GoPro 11 SE. No GPS.
GPS is only useful if you are being tracked by a spy agency , no one else needs or wants it

If want the GPS you can buy the 11 but you will have overheating issues.
You can choose what you prefer. I would prefer no GPS and no overheating but I'm waiting for some reviews after the embargo!
You can still get 240fps at 2.7k though. No action cam I know of has any higher frame rate. GPS functionality was only available in the quick app anyway, probably most people did not actually use it and they decided that for the good of the product performance they would release a camera without one to see what happens. I understand that some people did regularly use it though, workarounds are sure to come from phone apps or something.

False. It wasn't " only available in the Quick App. " We use REAL SOFTWARE like Telemetry Overlay on a PC. GoPro has NO CLUE who uses the GPS because people who do don't use their idiotic, crap app. @@Bellaire_Isaac

exactly. the team @ GoPro that decided that GPS is not needed have no clue of what their customers use. I mean, why would an action camera used outdoors in remote places for extreme sports, and for travelling around the world, would need a GPS in 2023? without GPS they cut out a large user base that used it all the time, even if not applying overlays in Quick mobile. If it drained power, it could have been disabled for those that don't need it. I'd like to have the choice of using it when needed. For instance, I only used to disable it indoors or when scubadiving, since it does not work under water anyway. The irony of being able to connect 4 bluetooth devices to the hero 12 black and no GoPro GPS remote available. this hero 12 is clearly a vlogging camera to be used on a tripod.@@Upstairsatericz
