About the Festival:
Established in 1987, Melbourne International Comedy Festival (#MICF) is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival.
Over the last week of March and into April every year, #MICF transforms Melbourne into the comedy capital of the world, as local and international comedians take to theatres, pubs, clubs and broom cupboards citywide - shining a spotlight on the silly, the serious, the heart-breaking and the hilarious.
Filming hours of comedy content every Festival, this channel delivers some of the highlights over the years. Delve into the archive of comedy with international stars (such as: Katherine Ryan, Michael Che, Sara Pascoe, James Veitch) and home-grown #aussiecomedy heroes (including: Hannah Gadsby, Josh Thomas, Aunty Donna, Ronny Chieng) and so many more! "Please laugh in time with the others"
Never miss a beat Stevie
He was lovin' it though LOL!
Stephen is always so sharp and has me in stitches; love his refined style and delivery.
“Please laugh in time with the others.” 😂😂😂👏🏽
"Please laugh in time with the others, I haven't got long up here". I fucking died.
CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED FOR SO LONG!!!!!!!!!! Give this man a Netflix special 😡😡😡
Got to watch him at work a few times, one of my favourite acts
Love this guy
Ahaha, youve been waiting a whole fucking year to use that helmet joke. . . Good man, i love that over the years hes learnt to tailor his humour to aussies when hes here, the mark of a true professional comedian
can you explain the joke?
@@photomakerman a helmet is a reference to a guys nob (specifically an uncircumcised nob), the reference is his being a 'lighter colour' than is expected lol
Yeah, it is the sign of a strong comedian to be able to change their tone and material for whatever part of the world they find themselves in. Amos has frequently said that Melbourne is among his favourite cities to perform in, and I think it's because he can just let it all go and just say whatever he wants. He can be as rude and crude as he wants to be, he can also dig the boots into Australia knowing it's safe, and people won't be offended by it. He understands that, although he's making a point, that it's also a sign of endearment. He gets it.
@@leishayoung4124 well said
he is a legend
I love this guy, he's hilarious 😂😂
Damn, never thought I'd see Stephen in a doorag. Steve's gangsta look LoL
Oh and the guy who voiced Darth Vader is of mixed heritage, James Earl Jones.
1:10 lol
Ganja man 😂😂😂😂
I fucking lost it! LOL!
🌌Super⚡Funny💥Man💨
Aquaman 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love it when he does the Jamaican accent "Stiviiiiin".
It's a Nigerian accent.
@@TheDarkestSmurf I apologise for my ignorance.
He has not given enough credit
3:46 Darth Vader is not and has never been black. His costume is black and his true face is shown in the 3rd of the original films, I think it was Return of the Jedi.
S.K.A (I've just realised they are his initials!) is smart enough to have done a little bit of research on such a pop reference even if he's not a fan of the genre or franchise.
James Earl Jones, the voice actor for Darth Vader, is black
@@andrewdate4955 according to Wikipedia, he actually personally claims to have mixed heritage comprising African-American, Native American and Irish.
He is far from just 'black'.
The voice that James Earl Jones very excellently provided was the augmented voice of the black helmet that contained Anakin Skywalkers necessary breathing apparatus. This is proven, again at the end of the Return of the Jedi, when the headgear is removed and not only is Anakin's actual head visible and Caucasian in appearance, his voice is also unfiltered and is no longer provided by the great Mr Earl-Jones.
The Black Panther film is set in the 1950s and he's a shape changer? Since when?
He didnt actually say the film. The character in the comics was created in the 60s but set in the 50s and his abilities included changing his physical appearance. Often into the form of different animals
You were even voiced Hyena.
Well .. I mean for us Islanders ... Aquaman was pretty cool though not that important ...
Stivaan you big black gay pirate!
Black Lightning > Black Panther.
At 2:40 -- "Is Black Panther invisible?" Yes; at night. Anything to say about that, Darwinists?
You racist barstard don't ever beat me to that comment again 😂😂
You racist barstard don't ever beat me with that comment again😂😂
