@@SamuelProcopio If you pre-order from Lego then sometimes they get sent out ahead of the release date...but not always
Lego finally cracked the code that we just want beautiful ships at a reasonable scale, it doesn't have to be big to be 'adult'.

YES! I would honestly rather have this falcon than the UCS simply because I have no where to put the UCS!
@@MrNbkelly indeed, if the "lesser" Falcons back then had looked this good, maybe I wouldn't have bought the UCS one... my UCS Falcon has been sitting (fully built) in a basement storage room for over fifteen years due to not having shelves large enough to display it (there has always been plans to redo the basement living room/cinema where I have most of my LEGO, but so far that has lost out to other more pressing projects).
nobody is happy with the price tho

Well MIDI scale did used to exist in 2010, but it wasn’t popular, so it’s not a new idea

I wish we could have gotten some exclusive figures for the midi scale sets as well. Maybe Like a new Count Dooku for the invisible hand, an exclusive version of Han Solo for the falcon, or an exclusive version of Bale Organa for the CR-90.
If you already have some of those figures you could maybe teplace them with that ugly 25'th anniversary piece

As someone who is currently trying to get rid of a UCS Millennium Falcon, this new Millennium Falcon is DEFINITELY something I'd be interested in. They are the perfect size.
That would be a perfect trade in with money to spare. I might do the same with mine!

After doing the executor they did these 3 in one go? Pretty sure they'll cover every known ship in the Star Wars universe at this scale
The old midi scale millennium falcon was one of my favorite lego sets growing up. Really hope they keep making these!

Crazy seeing R2 and the Tantive IV next to each other, both for $100. Seems like you get a bit more stuff with R2, but I like the idea of displaying the ships more. Wait and hope for price drop??

the Tantve IV and Millenium Falcon definitely are overpriced, like most star wars sets. It's best to wait for a sale

If they do a chopper in that scale I'll be pissed off because as somebody who bought the ucs one this dinky piece of crap covered in stickers will be the reason I don't have a matching chopper for my ucs version... I'm not buying that stickered one and I'm not buying the chopper if they do one at that scale either
@@micabryant4513Some secondary market companies sell a UCS Chopper. Maybe you could look into those.
I hear what you mean though, but the stickers are necessary to capture the same level of detail on a smaller scale.

If these are too pricey for you then you’re going to have to stick to Microfighters. I mean, what do you want? You’ve got massive UCS set at $750. A large play set at $170. Now a midiscale at less than half that price. Try a polybag?

I have always wanted the Midi Scale theme to return to Star Wars, and these sets make me excited for the future!
As someone who's first lego set was the original ~2009 Midi-scale millennium falcon this is a Nostalgia trip and a half
It's great news that Lego has began targeting AFOLS looking for medium-sized sets. Great building experience and a lot of details, but having a moderate size and reasonable price tag. I hope to see more of these medium-sized sets in Star Wars dioramas and other licensed themes.
Midi scale is the perfect sweet spot for size vs detail. Big enough to have clever techniques and nice parts usage, without breaking the bank or taking up an entire room. I went with midi scale for my Stargate ship MOCs.
These are all excellent. Perfect size for displaying

As a kid I had my little Micro Machines Blockade Runner imagining the Levels and Hallways, where the TIE Boarding Craft we never saw would have connected??? The little escape pod for R2 & 3P0... Maybe it's more exciting for you keeping this in mind.
not a star wars fan myself but the smaller models do look very nice and are tempting. i love all spaceships.
They look way better IRL. The cockpit of the tantive looked off from the box photos but looks way better scaled when you actually see it like this.
It's actually accurate on this new model. We're all used to the LEGO models where the cockpit is massive.

Midi scale became my absolute favorite with that SSD last year. I really hope Lego continues with these
I always wanted a ucs executor when I was a little kid, but many years later I got the midi scale one now and I'm so happy with it. Of course a giant lego set has it's cool factor but midi scale sets are both fun and easy to handle/play and is easier to use as decoration. I'll def be looking out for the falcon.
The Blockade Runner & the Hallway set are perfect for Display TOGETHER. They should always do this, an Iconic Scene from inside the iconic ship! Now we need the A New Hope Chess/Training set, free from fitting inside a model.

I think having an Invisible Hand midi scale is perfect. The Invisible Hand would probably be a somewhat niche ship to become a UCS set since that is usually reserved for very iconic ships that have a lot of screen time. I could see it appealing to very die hard Revenge of the Sith fans but not many other people. Although it would've been cool to have a UCS scale one next to the UCS venator

Love the look of these. If I buy any of them, it would be the Invisible Hand. But I want to wait and see what else gets revealed this year
so hyped for the Falcon, always wanted the big mini-fig one when it first came out as a kid, couldn't justify spending that much on something so big now as an "adult" (not even thinking about the massive ultimate one) but a bookshelf display scale? sold immediately!

I have the old UCS one, and I'm a bit jealous about the printed info plaque (also, I think this one looks nicer)... those stickers in the UCS sets are my main gripe, though it's not as bad as with the old UCS Tantive IV which had several stickers spanning multiple bricks :-(

These just look amazing. Got the superstar destroyer last year and will defo be getting these. Aside from the cost, I simply don’t have the room for the massive UCS sets, however, I still appreciate and want the detail, so these midi scale sets are absolutely perfect for me. Love love love. Just wish they would through in an exclusive minifigure for display alongside it.

Boarding the Tantive is a must have for me.. ill never forget that opening mission of lego star wars 1.
Love these ships at this scale! I started building legos again with some minifig scale batmobiles and this falcon will fit nicely next to those :) I hope they do more ships this size like an x-wing or star destroyer!
I know the docking rings are more accurate on the new millennium falcon but there was something really believable about the more open docking rings of the older midi scale Falcon, I wish they had kept that same design for the docking rings.

My gosh I love those midi scale builds. I love my Tantive IV from 2019, but it's so big that it's very difficult to enjoy.
The invisible hand is my favorite one in this lineup.
I got the big R2 because I love R2 lol, but this new one looks great for much less money and takes up less space. I think I might sell my old one, I hope it doesn’t tank in value 😬
How does the size of R2 compare to the UCS version? It doesn’t look that much smaller.

I am going to grab the Invisible hand and I'm sort of on the fence with the Tantive IV because the front of the ship just doesn't look right it should of been a bit bigger

Just wondering, since I'm thinking of making a box display, are the Tantive IV and Boarding Tantive IV boxes 26cm x 14cm?
Funny thing how the boxes show the correct positioning of the 25 year piece, but in the printed instructions the bits are separate.
I’m gonna pick up the Tantiv IV hallway and the midi scale Invisible Hand. The former has a few useful figures and the latter is a vehicle I’ve always wanted in Lego form.
As soon as I saw them I knew they’d be right up your alley. So cool you’ve got the chance to see them so early.

I still have the old midisclaed Millennium Falcon. Still to this day i think its one of the bestsets of scaled ships, looks good, good pricing and is playable as well good for putting on shelf to look at. Tho Im still mad at myself for not getting Midi scaled Imperial Star Destroyer

MIDI-SCALE FALCON MILLENIUM !!! I got it as a gift from friends when I was younger, an I loved it ! (I recently found out it was fake tho) But this time I'm sure I'll buy the real one...So much nostalgia rn
I haven't been into Legos in a really really long time but I want that Millennium Falcon.
The spaceships scale are great and the building technique looks promissing. But to use a few stickers are a bitter taste.
