Leaving on a trip today so I don't have time to go into depth but I installed, retired plumber, and there is no error code. It shows in stand by mode, "ready for next power outage" One strange issue is that once I installed the app it is showing several accessory power overload warnings but it has never been in service. I have started it, run a scheduled exercise and while running checked voltage at the ATS which is 240. Also, the led lights on the control panel in the unit, the ones on the bottom that show utility power available, source of power in use and generator power available are not working. Other than that I can't say yet what might be causing the issue. Oh, and thanks for your response and attempt to help. I live in Virginia but will be in California for the next 2 weeks so will be unable to do further checking/testing. I might call Kholer to see what they say, If I find out anything I'll get back to you.

I just tried that with my 200 amp ATS and it failed. New install, starts fine outside but wont work on auto to start or switch. The two green lights on the control board near the top blink constantly, left to right back and forth. I'm guessing it might be wired wrong but I've double checked, as far as I can tell, the 4 wires are properly placed. Model RXT ATS by Kholer.

Do you have the Manual. there must be an error code list. try disconnecting the control wires and see what happens

See Page 39. It's either a wiring error or the contactor is not in the position that the system left it in, so maybe it can be moved manually, but my guess is the wiring since its a new install: www.manualslib.com/manual/1248585/Kohler-M340Plus.html?page=39
