About Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season 4: The fourth and final season finds Jack Ryan on his most dangerous mission yet. I don't care that others say but the Jack Ryan series is a masterpiece. The realism, the thrill and the acting. This is my only favourite intelligence thriller series.
Brilliant series. The first season was outstanding, the best of it all.

I'd settle for some shows from The Campus series.
I can understand why, but I'd rather spend a season with a well thought out storyline than try to cram everything into a single 2.5 hour movie. 'Red October', 'Patriot Games', 'Sum of All Fears', 'Clear and Present Danger', and 'Without Remorse' can all be whittled down to a movie length. But something like 'Rainbow 6', 'Debt of Honor', or 'Executive Orders', I feel would need a series to do properly

The only time the show used “Undisclosed Location” was for Mike in a pool. 😂
That speech was everything. I was screaming at my tv!! I don’t want it to end! This is my brigington!! I need it!!! What will I watch now. I love action shows. Shows that make you think, leave you on the edge of your seat and screaming at the television! The best shows always end too soon..

Absolutely love this show, was a bit sad that S4 only had 6 episodes compares to the usual 8. But S4 ending speech by Krasinski gave me goosebumps, so very well done. I wish they kept going with the show after 4 spectacular seasons but none the less I'm excited for the Domingo Chavez spin-off if they make it

Agreed, they can continue as the last episode somewhat hint that Ryan should be running for US president, something that happened in the book although very different.
@@Boomkokogamezwell they left the door open for Jack to return. Hopefully it happens, so many stories left to tell.
Ding Chavez is probably the closest thing we have to have Jack Ryan and John Clark to ever meet in one screen

S4 writing was very good. After binging all four seasons in less than a week, I can say S4 felt the most well balanced between super serious thrilling scenes and just the right amount of humor to cut the tension in moments that can otherwise drag. “Now I’m blushing” actually caught me off guard in such a tense moment 😂 especially after three seasons of near constant tension.
The one character that doesn’t immediate align with someone from the books (Greer, Ding, dodgy politicians, drug lords, spies, pimps, FBI/BND/FSB) is Mike November.
But he fits. Really well. Proper ryanverse type character.
Michael Kelly aced it. 👏 👏 👏
Iike the idea of Ryan, along with Mike, and Chavez being assembed by Greer as a special team.
Amazing series! They did such a great job. So sad it's over now.
I am so addicted to every Jack Ryan episodes.... too bad Prime cut the show only for 4 seasons... they could have made many seasons more.. the story could be expanded more.... the acting and the set-ups are a masterpiece of directing and acting every episodes is jump-packed with thriller action suspense drama. I don't want it end in 4 seasons... please make more Jack Ryan stories

If you’re familiar with the books Jack does (reluctantly) go into office as referenced. And there’s still some room for some Ryan action.
Would be the perfect end to this hugely underrated series with the next pages in Jack’s story.
I gave it a miss originally (fan of the books and old school Jack Ryan movies “one ping only”) but have massively enjoyed this series.
Give us more (as well as the Ding Chavez spin off… and some John Clark please ta!).

Season 1 was the best, season 4 was probably the second best. I hate it when they make the lead character seem to be invincible and that is where they went with S4.

If the writer Lee Child AKA James Grant had served maybe a few years in the military or with an Alphabet Agency, his writing might be more realistic. The plots, the ambushes, the terrorists are so painfully cliche that these episodes are more like spoofs and most definitely Hollywood stupidity. These things re simply laughable.
That was the BEST of season 4? Not very impressed.
This season was such a disappointment compared with 1 and 3, though not as bad as 2. So rushed and not as good as it could have been. Also ending the show at 4 seasons is a major mistake.
I'm watching the season, up to episode 3, and so far I can't imagine where you managed to scrape anything "best", or even "good" about it.
The only decent season was the 1st one. The second was dull. The 3rd was formulaic. The 4th is near unwatchable.
Nothing happens. Nothing is interesting. Nothing is exciting.
The only reason I'm not jumping ship is because it's the final season and I want to see the show through. But it was better if I never started it

Totally agree, the 1st season was really good. 2nd and 3rd were pretty weak, and the 4th one now is horrible to watch....if u like season 1, watch "no man's land" - very good stuff in my opinion
