@Swagootha Nah bro, I watched a vid with that same clip in it a while back, and the player said he actually practiced those shots because there is a rule in the league that you can't take actual shots from a pass in with so little time on the clock, so believe it or not it was skill.

the highest iq play actually made at 0:02 by #13 on the kings. sees both players on either side of him going trying to pinch him on the rebound and let’s them run into each other. cleared the way for the shooter to grab his own rebound and put it back up

Some of these were just good passes over something like a high IQ play. Lebron directing everyone’s attention to the right for a left pass? High IQ. Under the leg pass to Dwight Howard cutting? Just a good pass imo.

depends because it takes a high iq to be a good passer and knowing which pass to make, at what time, and how. people make the dumbest passes and lob it when they should bounce pass, etc
John Fair well that’s true, while having good awareness and passing to those open falls under the category, I think of “high IQ” in basketball like what Ty Lawson did where he rolled the ball up and just waited on it cause the clock was still ticking. That’s more than just situational awareness, that’s a general smart plan.
