I always loved how they made Anakin’s attack pattern a more agile version of Vader’s.
Also when Anakin walks slowly it looks identical to Vader’s regular walk
This is where the fun begins same with kylo.
Yea Anakin has more open space than Vader and he can waste all the energy he wants meanwhile, Vader has to give power strikes and not fully waste his energy.

Vader's style: Slow, heavy, and efficient. Because of the fact that he's heavily limited with how he can move, thanks to his cybernetic implants, he has to attack with as much efficiency and power at the same time to conserve as much energy as possible.
Kylo's style: Mimicking Vader, Kylo likes to use one hand when using his lightsaber. However, being a lot younger and in better physical shape, he has a lot more agility than his grandfather, so his strikes are a lot more violent and aggressive.
Luke's style: Quick and easy. Luke rushes into his opponents head-on, using quick strikes to defeat his opponents so he can swiftly move onto his next objective.
Maul's style: Using a flurry of his double-bladed saber, there isn't a space in front of him that the blades haven't been. Anyone in his way will be cut down in no time. Always getting the job done, his double-bladed lightsaber is a force not to be underestimated.
Rey's style: Not fully trained properly with a lightsaber, Rey doesn't have a style. Instead, she fights how her instincts tell her to fight. Her attack pattern is loose, flimsy, and unconventional, but it gets the job done nicely with no looking back.
Yoda's style: Agility is of utmost importance. Yoda is an agile fighter and an expert swordsman, able to take out enemies in the blink of an eye, often outsmarting them all.
Grievous's style: Not trained in force combat, Grievous only has his training and aggression to fight. Thanks to his mechanical body, his four arms can be used in a variety of ways when mastering lightsaber combat. His fighting style is very aggressive, and some might say overkill, but it's effective when it comes to his primary objective: killing Jedi.
Obi-Wan's style: Graceful and defensive, Obi-Wan never attacks first. He heavily relies on his defensive form, and attacks when he sees a flaw or opening in his opponent's saber techniques, which he specializes in.
Dooku's style: Elegant and formal, Dooku is one of the best swordfighters in the galaxy, if not the best. He uses his calm composure and elegant saber techniques to gain the advantage in the fight.
Anakin's style: A perfect balance between the light and dark, he occasionally let's his anger get in the way, usually making his lightsaber combat unpredictable and dangerous. He mixes and matches his swings, often bringing success in his wild battles.

Everyone has unique battle styles
Rey lightsaber=baseball bat
Yoda's strikes always felt slow and hard to control
The individual strikes are quick (which is accurate) but the pauses in between are what make him seem slow
You did it, you finally described how i’ve felt
Hey guys, the trick is to combine Yoda's main attacks with his dashes. Sprinkle in some dodges and Yoda becomes overwhelmingly fast and easy to control
Also make use of jumping about
elliot green jumping ? Lol in this game when you jump as a light saber hero that means u wanna die or you don’t know how to play
I do wish the strokes blended in together more, but I love how all of these are distinct fighting styles
I agree. I think Dooku's lightsaber strokes blend more together which is why I like to use him.
Sucks how grievous doesn’t use all 4 arms when fighting, only with his first ability ;(
He has two abilities that use all 4 arms but I wish he uses all 4 in regular attacks!

Clone Commander Wolffe thats a really good idea because anakin is the only one with a fourth ability that connects with the hero. this one that u mentioned would connect with greivous so well

Don't forget Leia's from ep. 9 and Maul's from Clone Wars season 7 as well (which I was kinda hoping they could put Leia's lightsaber on Rey's hooded appearance while putting Maul's second lightsaber with the possible Siege of Mandalore appearance) that makes 15 unique lightsabers.
I think Palpatine should have a 4th ability like Anakin's Retribution ability. When Palpatine reaches a certain amount of kills in a kill streak, like 66 for example, you press the button for his 4th ability. In this 4th ability, the player can use Palpatines lightsaber for a limited time for like 60 seconds. Then you go back to force lightning. Pretty cool concept

@@Lucerys890 don't forget General Grievous should also have a 4th ability as well, I would choose toggle between on and off 4 lightsabers for additional basic attacks when fighting Heroes like Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Chewie, Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, Rey, Finn and BB-8 while basic 2 lightsaber attacks are for troopers.
I love the little touches the devs added, like Dooku keeping one hand behind his back and Rey and Luke both integrating kicks into the fighting style. Really makes all the styles feel more distinct that the typical "person swinging glowy sword"

I love each Jedi/Sith style and movements, so unique. Also I love looking at Anakin and Vader styles, and how they compare and contrast.

If you guys did not notice, Rey and Luke’s Blue lightsabers are light blue and obi wans and anakins lightsaber are dark blue.
Also, Rey, Luke, and Anakin actually have different hilt models, despite being the same saber. The reason behind this is actually because each trilogy used a different prop, which was mostly identical, but not perfectly. And Rey's Rise of Skywalker saber made a few changes when repaired. The switch is now slightly farther away from the grip, to fit the leather strap added.

Actually..Obi-Wan took Anakin's saber,gave it to Luke that lost it,then,that New Species ((I do not remember that girl's name from Takondana )) and Rey steal it. Same for Falcon.

Anakin is my favorite character in Star wars. him, his saber, his saber fighting style, (form V) is great. And it's cool Vader used an alternate version of form V later on to compensate for his physical constrictions.

I love that Vader’s swings are like a less acrobatic version of Anakin’s because of the limitations of his suit.
Great detail from the animators for sure
Notice that in the republic (Anakin,etc...), they were skilled and their ability with the saber is elite than now with rey and kylo.
It's insane how you can tell so much about a character just by seeing there lightsaber swings

My favourite has to be Ashoka’s w lightsabers in the new clone wars episodes they’re just so cool I wish they would add her to the game and then another dark side character would be Ventress

I like how EA decided to go screen accurate with Grievous and gave him Obi-Wan and Anakin’s lightsabers, which he also had in revenge of the sith

The skywalker saber is obviously the best saber, but I really love Rey’s saber aswell. Kylo is close too
I sometimes get completely sidetracked by the way Kylo's lightsaber looks and how he moves it around so swiftly. Especially in the dark
I'm impressed with attention to detail in each lightsaber style.
Darth Maul dual blade makes its almast impossible to counter attack as saber has wide reach.
Rey's attacks are the most easy ones as they are all similar and predictable.
Luc has simplicity too, but he compensates it with agility and speed of attacks.
Kylo Ren's style remind of Vader but it also shows cockiness in unnecessary spins.
Yoda style is great and the most unique. He doesn't just rotate lightsaber in his arms, he manages is with his whole body, what makes it incredibly hard to predict and block.
Darth Vader's attacks are meagre because of prosthetics, but his strong point is forse for the same reason.
Anakin's is a perfect synergy of skill and agilily.
And Count Dooku. Absolute legend. You can see his perfection in every aspect. His durable stance, position of arms. His series of attack are made are completely unpredictable as you don't know from where it will strike. It also combine both cutting and piersing hits. When you encounter him in combat he immediately dominates fight.

Also idk no one has pointed it out. But Anakin's saber crystal is aged with a lighter shade of blue when luke and rey wield it. Vs it's original dark blue color from the clone wars era.

The skin with her yellow blade is called ‘Skywalker’ hence why Skywalker is above Rey in a different coloured text - the same way ‘Old Master’ is above Maul for his Rebels outfit

I wish they would fix the lightsabers, specifically the blue ones, the prequel characters have a darker shade then both the OT and ST, I get that they want to be movie accurate but it bothers me personally, wish they would atleast make an option to make all the lightsabers look the same.

@Oliver Staples No it's a synthetic crystal, not a real organic kyber crystal. This is why the ignition noise has more treble than other lightsabers.

technically there should be four different versions of the Anakin/Luke/Rey saber, ROTS, ANH, ESB, and ROS all have slightly different versions of it, also same thing with Vader, every movie in the OT has a different version of it
