Thanks for sharing your background, very interesting! Maybe do a limited high end version for the people who want to spend the money and the metal plated version for the others who just want a fun puzzle to solve.
I would love the higher end look. So that it looks great on display, like Jesse Born's puzzles etc.

Looks amazing! And huge! I think you should do a small run of the metal plated ones and then a regular run of the PLA version.
Great update Doc. My preference would be an enhanced finish version if not too limiting to availability. We are also planning to be in AU but not until next month. Super long flight... bring some puzzles 😉
I would have to say go with the higher end type. But whatever you choose I think will be fantastic!!
I feel like a strong solving experience will outweigh the exterior finish for some folks (myself included). That said, while I am very intrigued by your puzzle, it will likely be out of my budget for right now (family health challenges for the last two years), so my opinion may not matter. In any event, I love your videos and always get excited to see a new one drop on the channel. They are a welcome escape from reality here. They are also a big part of what keeps me going on perfecting my own puzzle designs. Perhaps at some point I will have a puzzle of high enough quality to be worthy of your puzzle solving skills haha. One can hope, right? Anyway…safe travels! Your profession sounds intriguing!
Geting to lern more about the person behind the puzzler is a maze ing. Could you do a low end maspoduced and a high end limited run.
Love the patina look. As far as cost, why not do both versions? Limited Metal for the Collectors and PLA for the rest of us! ❤
Well, mostly because I'm not looking to commit to cranking out 100+ puzzles by my lonesome. I'm working on possible ways to get to as many as possible.

I would like to see the chalice be detailed and ornate. It will be a piece of art to display after it is solved. 😊
I’m impressed with your profession. I liked the antique look of this version. I had bought the enhanced version of Lost Vault and the small buried city saga puzzles. But those versions were still not too expensive. For me, I do prefer costs to be on the low side, not over $400 for a really nice puzzle. Good luck and have a safe set of trips. Enjoy your videos.
Unfortunately it is not likely to be less than $400 regardless of which way I go.
