Bale won again, typical. If bale is going to win every time, just constantly rewatch his Batman instead of watching the other live action Batman hypocrites.
Michael Keaton, no discussion
I think Pattinson’s suit was my favorite. It took bullets like it was nobody’s business, it can survive explosions, and allowed for quick movements and martial arts moves while looking awesome in the process
The suit def my favorite

Yea and I thought Kristen Stewart was going to be a terrible Princess Diana, and I was wrong. Edward and Bella have made it pretty far.
We barely saw his Bruce Wayne so I think it's too soon to judge that side of the character, but he killed it as Batman. Obsessed.
When I first heard he was gonna be batman I wasn't against it at all cause I thought he would make a good Bruce Wayne, for batman that more depended on the suit.
Agreed 100%
Christian Bale is my favorite because Dark Knight is one of the best movies ever made. But Pattinson played the role amazingly well and The Batman explored new things and avoided the repetitive storylines from other Batman Movies.
Is the dark knight great because of batman or heath ledger as the joker..

Pure truth my man , pure truth
I loved Pattinson's Batman and I know some people didn't like his portrayal as Bruce Wayne but the movie was focusing on the Batman however there was slight Bruce character development with almost losing Alfred and finding out about the secrets of his family causing him to reflect on himself and how he can help Gotham as a Wayne not just as Batman
Bruce Wayne will be featured more in batman sequels
I loved with what they did with Bruce Wayne when Christine bale was acting it made him enjoyable and sometimes wanting just Bruce Wayne and not batman
I just felt the way he looked as Wayne made me think I was looking at Dick Grayson or Damian Wayne.. but yea it’s also that we are used to Bruce being pretty suave and sometimes a bit of an ass so people could never see him as looking out for anyone other than himself. Though he is already way up there as the best Batman especially with him showing the detective side of the hero I’m sure when we see Bruce mingle more we will see more of Pattinson’s portrayal of him. Tho I get the feeling that we might see even less of Bruce in the immediate sequel tho maybe more in the 3rd film but one step (film) at a time
Exactly! This movie shows the dangers of his addiction to being the Bat, to being Vengeance and in the process, letting Bruce Wayne almost wither away. And that character development is how he realizes he can’t just be one or the other to truly save Gotham. He needs to now find a balance between The Batman and Bruce Wayne. And that will be a big part of his struggle I’m sure going forward for this trilogy, because we all know it’ll be a trilogy
@@SIR1U5 no the first movie is him realising he needs to do more as Bruce Wayne what will happen in the sequels is we’ll see the complete opposite of what you just said
Pattinson , Bale and Keaton were great batman all the way , each one of them did good in their movies

My loyalties lie first & foremost with Christian Bale… Robert Pattinson is a very close second though. Keaton's interpretation of Batman will always be iconic. I also must give some love to Kilmer and Affleck (despite the movies not being that good, they did a good job with what they had).
AGREED, and George Clooney definitely sucked
💯
Nostalgia is why people are loyal to Christian Bale’s Batman. There’s nothing wrong with that.
@@KateTsingtao lmao that movie doesn’t even feel like it came out a long time ago. And no, the Dark Knight Trilogy is literally not just the best super hero movie. But some would say some of the best of all time. The story telling is what can’t be matched with today.
@@KateTsingtao I would also argue you clowns have to make “The Batman” seem greater than it is because you guys probably didn’t experience the greatest movie in person, so you have to try to convince yourself and others that Patterson’s Batman was the better Bruce Wayne or Batman. Pffffff🤡s
Keaton's batman was the most unhinged and mysterious.
Bale's batman was dark, gritty and grounded and heroic and embraced symbolism.
Pattinson was literally the batman we know from the comics, the animated series and Arkham games. He truly was the world's greatest detective.
DC doesn't have their own studio like Marvel Studios
WB have to make movies
How pathetic
i’m disappointed that robert pattinson is still judged on his performance in twilight. he’s done so many indie films that showed how talented of an actor he is. i was very hopeful for his role as batman since films like ‘lighthouse’ displayed how well he plays tortured characters. i haven’t seen the batman yet but from the reviews it seems my hope hasn’t been in vain
That's probably coz those indie films aren't known or shown worldwide as much as these commercially successful movies. I mean look at what other actors like bale and Keaton has worked. That's why Pattinson is judged by Twilight 😂
Same!!! But I was a little nervous because I love the Batmans and I know Rob is an incredible actor but you it's an iconic role! But Holy sh**!! He smashed it!! He is an incredible Batman!!👏👏❤❤
And he did everything he was supposed to do with twilight. Those movies were a big success. They appealed directly to the audience that saw them.
I literally just got done watching it a hour ago and I'll tell you he's my favorite batman so far
The only people who bring up twilight are you guys.
My personal preference is Bale’s Batman, but this new iteration of Batman is pretty great. With more movies to round out his character… he’s be a strong contender for the greatest. Matt Reeves is on the right path. Just cut Patterson’s hair!!
@Max Cruise i second that

Sorry but Bale was not a convincing Batman in the slightest.. and he was way too small.. should have stuck with his 1st suit.. the other suits just reminds you how tiny bale is… Pattinson is like 6’4.. with the boots he probably was pushing 6’6.. THATS A MORE BELIEVABLE BATMAN
Keaton's batman was my favourite. He always showed up when it was dark and he had stealth.
Robert Pattinson was with no doubt a great batman , for the ones who said he was a bad choice
Good batman, but one of the worse bruce waynes
I liked his Bruce Wayne actually, not nearly as much as bale, but I also think the point was that he wasn’t that Bruce Wayne yet, I think in the future we’ll potentially get Pattinson as a more playboy type Bruce Wayne, who knows
@@rhibrammii1153 This is most realistic portrayal of Bruce and it fits well with the movie's dark theme.
His Batman and Bruce Wayne were no different. Nolan's Batman was more realistic in that the two had to have 2 different personas; otherwise, it would be obvious.
Most people originally thought he was a bad choice because all they could think of when thinking of Pattinson was Twilight, but then the tune changed when we started seeing the trailers
Pattinson's Batmobile is the one thing from the movie that I can't quit picturing and hearing! That thing is a freakin beast, and sounds scary as hell!!

very much agree 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland have something in common that makes me truly admire their casted roles as their respective heroes: They both play such legendary and well known characters, but instead of trying to take the hero act as far as they can, they kind of set this tone of them being inexperienced (to some extent). As this video said for Pattinson, he's essentially trying to "figure himself out". I love that aspect.
I like all of them. All 3 represent the best of their generation. Keaton layed out the path. Bale's Batman holds a special place in my heart for the boundless inspiration he gave me. Pattinson's Batman showed me the World's Greatest Detective straight out of animation films which I grew up watching.
Its Good To Be Batman Fan. ❤️
I full heartedly agree
@@smilingneroanimationsgamin2462 same but he forgot the other guy who fought batman even tho I think his movies are bad
From Adam West to Michael Keaton that was a HUGE jump. That was how important Keaton`s Batman was. Then it further evolved on Bale and finally Pattinson`s. Patinson`s Batman is HUGE (for me), very silent, collected and has that strong presence. The movement and mannerism the kind of Batman in the real world if it were to exist. No one is the best version, but a better version because of the continuity of the actors evolving for the role and making it better.
I see it differently. What Bale lacked was the eye acting. With Keaton, you could see in his eyes that he's a bothered person. Pattinson did the same thing. If anything, Pattinson and Keaton are almost the same Batman.
I love how everybody just pretends Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Ben Affleck dont even exist.
Keaton's Batman will always be my favorite, winning debut, suit, and batmobile. Bale has been the best Bruce Wayne, taking the detective, squad, and character arc. Wish the 90s continued with Burton and Keaton to see where they went with it.
See that's where so many people differ, haha. So many love Bale as Batman more because of his voice and suit. Keaton was the original great.
Bale's Batman was not really a detective or a chemist. Those elements are consistently handed off to other characters (typically Alfred and Fox).
That's a huge contrast to Keaton's Batman.
An example of this can be found when looking at BATMAN versus BATMAN BEGINS. In the latter, Bale's Batman hands the issue of Crane's chemical compound off to Fox, while in the former, Keaton's Batman studies Jack Napier's background and, ultimately, breaks the Smile-X chemical code through his superior knowledge of chemistry. The throughline of Burton's BATMAN is elegant and economic in its ability to show Wayne as a great detective, great chemist, and a genius-level mind.
Nolan's BATMAN BEGINS, for better or worse, turns Wayne into a much less of a polymath compared to Burton's interpretation, and within that assumption takes elements of the Wayne/Batman character and projects them into characters such as Morgan Freeman's Fox (effectively allowing Nolan to make the film far more expository and mainstream-friendly through this construct).
The Burton assumption is more to my liking: the Batman/Bruce Wayne schism is played as a psychosis and, even as the character is non-functional in a societal context (Wayne), he is a ruthless, calculated, and brilliant mind through the Batman persona/personality.
I think a lot of this points back to Burton's obsession with Expressionism -- aka, the World-as-the-Titilar-Character's-Mind -- whereas Nolan pushes verbal exposition. The type of internalization that was inherent to Keaton's Batman is largely elided through the Nolan viewpoint, and I'd assert that this carries through to the idea of removing the detective/chemist elements from Bale's version of Batman (Alfred, Fox, etc. then better serve the function of exposition).
I tend to agree with Steve Englehart that Keaton was the perfect Wayne/Batman: brilliant, disturbed, and deeply internalized.
I have to say that I liked every single iteration of those three Batman.
My favourite is still Michael Keaton, because of three reasons:
1. He had the greatest impact on me. I knew only the Adam West Series before, so it was great to see this darker and realistic version for the first time.
2. He impersonated the darkness and fear. I remember of being scared seeing his first act, by surprising those robbers.
3. He was a believable Bruce Wayne in public.
I agree he’s my favorite one as well.
Both Bale and Battinson are doing there best Keaton impersonation.
I agree. Michael Keaton is my favorite Batman and Bruce Wayne as well.
I recently just saw Batman and Batman returns, I’ve also seen the Dark Knight in the past… I definitely prefer Michael Keaton’s Batman. I prefer the earlier movies as well. I love how playful they are and how they bring the villains to life. The new movies have a lot more of a serious tone which is fine, but watching the earlier ones feels like I’m reading the comics
Keaton can intimidate with his eyes and mannerisms alone
I hope Pattinson comes back as Batman. He was great
Was????
Sequel has already been confirmed
don't worry he will stay Batman for a long time especially since Reeves wants to create a universe around the Batman
He was awful, the worst Batman. It is clear he is only in the role to mock Batman.
@@MattGraves01 are you on drugs.
Robat Battinson may be my new favorite Batman. He’s the best detective, knows how to use fear as a weapon, I like the obsession he displays from being a young new on the job batman, and finally I think he’s the best fighter. Bale used gadgets well but his batman hand to hand combat always seemed stiff. Battinson fight scenes feels like they’re straight out of the Arkham games.
I agree this film had a better detective feel to it, but I don’t think Batman was a very good detective in this film. He made a lot of mistakes and the riddler was always two steps ahead of him. Prolly because it’s year 2. But yeah I think this one had the best fight scenes
Damn..good take bro. I felt Arkham asylum vibes

Christian Bale proved to us that he is an amazing Batman from 2005-2012. Hands down 🔥
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you are so wrong
@@krpyton7368 How so ? Batman is not just your typical superhero , its a traumatized man who uses his ptsd to push himself for better . A simple test to see if you written a good Batman - Can you make a scene where YOUR batman talks to a dying child ? If not , then you did not write batman , you wrote a punisher in a funny hat .
I for one cant even imagine Pattinson's Batman even talking to a kid , he is just too brutal too close to being more of a cruel cop rather than a twisted hero . Keaton's Batman is better in that sense , but still not perfect . He literally decides to throw away his one rule for the joker . While Bale's bat is just perfect in all those instances , there was a scene were he saved a child in Batman begins and it was completely fitting and awesome . He pushed himself to save the joker instead of letting him fall to his doom even after Joker killed Rachel , made Harvey go insane and made Gotham hate batman .
And you can EASILY write a scene of him comforting a dying child in a movie , because there were tons of scenes of Bale's Batman talking to people and helping them in Nolan's movies . And that is what Batman is supposed to be , that's what Batman represents . He is not just a cruel vigilante on the verge of murdering someone , he is a symbol of hope . That is why in the end of The Dark Knight he lets Gotham hate him in exchange of saving Dent's legacy , that's why he risks his life to escape the pit and save Gotham in The Dark Knight Rises and yet he still saves little people even after contributing so much for a bigger picture of peace .
It's funny they don't even consider Ben Affleck to be a part of this.

Best description ever, even though Keaton is more accurate to mid to late 80s Batman comics
Bale is best character development and core ideologies imo
Bale already has the luxury of having a complete trilogy against the other two. That said, I love all of them. Each iteration of Batman has been a significant stamp to the character’s rich and continuously developing history. Keaton was the first cinematic Batman that exposed me to its gothic history, the Nolan trilogy grounded the whole idea of Batman and produced some of the best thematic stories that echo unto real life, while Reeves’ and Pattinson took it five steps further and has developed this hybrid of the first two; combining fantastical comic book elements with grounded neo noir realism, all the while delving deeper to the detective side of the Batman.
The thing I like about the Pattersons Batman is that the ending wasn’t predictable and the whole movie felt the most realistic out of all of them. The only thing I think would’ve made it better is if he got a little bigger.

Battinson:"I'm Vengeance."
BatBale:"I'm The Night."
BatKeaton:"I'm Batman."
A very heavily criminally underrated comment. You need more likes and attention for this bro.
BatWest: "I'm the Batusi"
Bale and Keaton literally goated Batman in live action
I think your reasoning is spot on. I don't like that Bale won, but I can't deny his Batman the win either - the most movies, the biggest tech and the most development and impact. Even so, Pattinson's Batman blew me away and I loved the movie. Bale wins the contest, Pattinson wins my favor.
They didn't even bring ben affleck, adam west, val kilmer and George Clooney into the competition. Ouch 😂😂😂
Batfleck deserved to be in this vid
@@niggatron4072 Yeah, Batfleck is better than Keaton, but Pattinson and Bale are much better. Pattinson actually felt like Batman from the comics.
@Jaiden Thomson West is trash he wouldn’t win shit
@Jaiden Thomson you think west would have won?! In this day and age. After dark knight, after zack synder, after mat reeves, and tim Burton's batman
@Jaiden Thomson hahahaha! He’s Batman is a joke!
I think there's one that comes on top of every version of Batman across all entertainment media for very obvious reasons...Kevin Conroy is and will always be the definitive Batman.
People always have to purposefully not put him on lists cuz he’s just way ahead of everybody
He is Batman
There is no reason to have a versus when he’s around
His voice is batman to me
All of them did amazing!
Robert Pattinson was extremely good, but Christian Bale is just the best for me, perfect acting as Batman and Bruce Wayne, and he also faced two of the best villains in the DC Universe: Heath Ledger's Joker and Tom Hardy's Bane.
Even at his first movie, Robert Pattinson absolutely won me over that he became the best Batman to date. His Bruce Wayne feels a lot more relatable, especially having to deal with his trauma. Definitely surpassed Bale, Keaton and Affleck in the role.
Affleck never really had a solo Batman movie.
Bale Bruce Wayne did had trauma too at the beginning of Batman Begins and i loved the idea of him being terrified by actual Bats. That was a great addition from Nolan too. It was a fast paced Batman movie and went focused on corruption of Gotham City and introducing New Villains.
I didn't much like Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Bruce Wayne though. But perhaps a sequel might make it better since its Year 2 of being Batman and maybe he is still struggling to balance both personas. As being Bruce Wayne is supposed to be a mask where he acts careless and as a playboy so there won't be any suspicion on him. Whereas in the latest iteration, he is moody and so reclusive. And what with the fancy equipment and car, people might start asking questions of the reclusive and brooding billionare.
Nah bro roberts bruce Wayne is bad
Bale easily the best everyone knows it
'The Batman' should be the final blow in washing away those people's bad memories of Robert playing vampireboy in twilight. He already showed how talented he is in many films but unfortunately they not that popular but now he gets to play as batman who is in top 5 as a most iconic and respected superhero.
Interested in seeing what's next
I think Battinson is easily the most overall comic book accurate/faithful
I literally just got back from seeing the Batman and Robert Pattinson is easily the best of the three actors who have put on the cowl for me
Imo bale was better. Pattinon’s rage felt a bit forced imo. Like someone pretending to be angry.
Christian Bale as Batman is the best one in my opinion. He played both Bruce Wayne & Batman well.
Exactly! He had a character arc in all 3 of his movies and you actualy cared about what happened to him. Pattinson was just playing Batman throughout the whole film, the only scenes Bruce Wayne is in are when he's being a total dick to Alfred
Not enough people appreciate Christian Bale he deserves this win.
Nobody denies that each one was good. But Pattinson for me is the best, his interpretation of Batman was impressive, imposing, rude. Personally, I've never seen a batman like this.
Imposing is exactly right. The man doesn’t waste words and I just loved his energy. I actually cared about the titular character for the first time and felt like there was an uncertainty as to whether he’d live or die and it engaged me emotionally
ROBERT PATTINSON!!!!!! never expected this to happen, but you are my favourite batman. even though Robert had the least dialogue of any batman/bruce Wayne actor, he made the most impact on me by the end of the film, his realisation that instead of being a symbol of fear he has to become a symbol of hope was so uplifting and touching, he absolutely smashed this. Need more of his batman asap. looking forward to the sequels
Exactly 😍😍
To be a good batman he needs to be both. The fear and the hope
Obviously, I adore these three Dark Knights, however, it makes me feel bad for Ben Affleck. It’s clear that the problem wasn’t him; he’s an astounding actor and plays his parts extraordinarily well. But the writing in all the DCEU movies he was in, aside from the Snyder Cut, definitely detracts his popularity as Batman. Again, Affleck isn’t the problem, the writing was. (Also, while I know this list focuses more on the live-action iterations, I feel like LEGO Batman from the LEGO movies deserves acknowledgment; the humor is a huge contrast from Batman’s personality,, but that’s what I love about it)
The Ultimate Cut for BVS is to the original as the Snyder Cut is to Justice League. That being said I am shocked Mojo left him off this list.
Marlon Brando was an astounding actor. Daniel Day Lewis is an astounding actor. Ben Affleck is a competent actor. I have no problem with his depiction of Batman, though I do agree that he wasn't served with the best writing and storylines in his outings as the Caped Crusader.
Christian Bale was my favorite actor for the Batman Movie. He is a great actor. He transmitted an special energy and like more action. I just loved the way he interpreted and transmitted the carácter.
Buenísimo el vídeo
I like Michael keaton Batman
And
Christian Bale.
Pattinson: "I'm Vengeance"
Bale: "I'm the Knight"
Keaton: "I'm Batman"
Just got the chills reading it, there needs to be an edit with this comment
@Rajat Tyagi Clooney: "Hi Freeze, I'm Batman"
What makes these Batman’s so good, each of them took it to another level. Each lay a standard what a superhero movie should be!
Robert, made Batman even more human in a good way.. And i look forward to the sequel
Nolan's Batman will remain as the best Superhero movie ever made in the history. All characters were so brilliant. Right from Alfred to Scarecrow.
I prefer Pattinson as batman personally felt like it got everything right.
Pattinson's suit just looks strong... and his movements are still fast using that Bat-suit.
The fact that Michael Keaton's Batman is even in the running 30 years later tells you all you need to know. Michael Keaton is my Batman. The others had the help of better CGI and style set by his and Tim Burton's example. Composers are key too.
Bale is still the GOAT. But if Pattinson can be more layered as Bruce in the sequels; he will take the mantle.
I agree. I love pattinson’s batman a ton but im so used to bale’s and him being my favorite i honestly can’t pick lol. Plus the dark knight trilogy is just nostalgic to me
@@wormie077 I feel you. Bale is my guy and I was surprised at how much I fell in love with Pattinson in the role. Pattinson had that rage that bale personified which put a smile on my face.
@Oreofe Idowu batflecks rage wasn't nearly as nuanced as bale's and Pattinson's, imo. Bale and Pattinson both had an aversion to guns and didn't outright murder anyone. Batfleck straight up executed a guy at the end of the infamous war house fight sequence. Plus Pattinson learns he has to have compassion and instill hope. Not just vengeance.
Why do I now have the urge to see all 3 Batmen in their own multiverse movie?! 😃
Keaton: "I'M BATMAN!"
Bale: "No, I'M Batman!"
Pattinson: "Oh yeah? Well, I'M VENGEANCE!"
Pattinsson had grown on me. Can't wait for the sequel. 👍
The last point of best batman debut should've definitely gone to Pattinson. We already know how his 1st portrayal has created a tremendous hype and a lasting impact.
its unfair to the others, Bale got 3 Batman films, Keaton got 2 and Pattinson just got his first film days ago
Well yeah they did mention that in the video lol.
Only time will tell for Pattison and his future films.
@@shinkounova8485 *PattINson.
I firmly believe that Pattinson is now and will be the greatest Batman there has been. With a few sequels this will become easy to see.
When I heard Robert Pattinson is going to play the Batman, I’m like “say what now? I’m not so sure but I have to give this a movie a chance”. But now he looks awesome
Batman is the Greatest SuperHero of All Time because his Impact can be Felt in Multiple Ways From Classic hero Adventure, to Vigilante Justice, Crime and Society Corruption, Psychological Thrills, Action Romance and Comedy, and many more that makes him a True Art and Masterpiece of a Fictional Character.
Thanks to Bob Kane & Bill Finger will Never Forget your Creation the One and Only that Can (Not) be Re'Chance the "Batman"
I LOVED Bale's Batman, and I always will, but as much as I thought Pattinson won't be as good, he proved me wrong. He was truly awesome. Dark Knight is and always will be as close to perfect as you can get, but new Batman is very much up there as well.
I went to the theater with my girlfriend to watch “The Batman”. I absolutely LOVED IT! She, on the other hand, fell asleep a couple times during the movie & didn’t like it at all…. Well, for that insult, she slept on the couch last night… Foh (love you babe, don’t diss Batman…..EvEr)
I watched the Batman in cinemas today, i was impressed, Pattinsons suit impresses me his Bruce though kind of good but overall it’s amazing. His suit kind of matches Arkham origins with a match of Arkham knight
Michael Keaton is Batman
Christian Bale is the Dark Knight
Robert Pattinson is Vengeance
