I think Dans problem is not correlating the position of the bankrupts and the strength he uses, it appears as though arin pays attention and knows the minimum strength will go around at least once otherwise the game would make you respin a bunch.
edit I take that back, 21:18 an almost half strength spin doesn't do a complete spin, guess this isn't price is right rules.
second edit, actually dan around here you can goto an 'adult sandbox' and take a lesson or two on how to operate big twucks and get your wish. Price of that wish might be a little steep though if you don't want to hang around for four to six hours.

Vanna's hair being basically concrete is very much on purpose. She's standing in front of a green screen, and has to be rotoscoped out, basically traced by hand and cut out. If her hair is loose and moving around, that makes the rotoscoping way harder and therefore more expensive. By aggressively moussing her hair into place, her silhouette becomes much easier to trace and saves the rotoscoper a ton of time.

For real though, I'm wondering if there's something specific that Dan is doing that's making the game land on Bankrupt that often. Has anyone tried looking at the game's source code to see how it's making the choice? Is it something that specifically happens with Player 2? I'm really curious, and there's a big enough fanbase here that it feels like something we should be able to work out.
You can not get much worse then Arin's first turn being "solving the first puzzle flawlessly." and Dan's first turn is just "bankrupt."
