The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game's progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, 5 new biomes and new structures, a new class, a new leveling mechanic, more than 30 new songs, over 50 recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items, and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.

Didn't include early death mode versions, malice, and devourer of universes because they were unfun and my head wants to explode after hearing universal collapse so many times alongside those stressful hit sounds
Also, I couldn't find versions 1.1.5 up to 1.1.6 so not include content from those

Love how the arena size slowly increases and then sometimes you just use your whole world as a arena

I love how not only does the devourer grow but also the player, looking at all the new accessories, weapon, armours and seeing the anount of mana going up the heakty bar is oddly cool and really shows how far of a mod its come in general
Ngl, the Infernum DoG showcase was done kinda dirty. A lot of what makes this progression showcase cool, is not just the art, but the attack patterns and ai. The Infernum DoG 'cheese' prevented DoG from truly showing what it had in store.

Tbf, a lot of people despise infernum dog despite there being far worse bosses from infernum (cough cough old duke), but yeah the fight was kinda butchered. The summons make the frame too cluttered and infernum dog is a marked improvement above death mode dog in the end.

I'm a big fan of how when entering the 2nd phase it "dies" getting your hopes up then comes back looking twice as terrifying. kinda wish they kept that

Like Calamitas, the developers have created something amazing over a long period of time. In fact, I really like that all the bosses in Calamity mode take such a long time and effort and come out with amazing designs.

I do kinda miss the Sentinels Phase. Idk why but it felt so cool to beat the Sentinels agains, like DoG was buying some time so he could activate his true form.

I whould highly recommend the providence sword idk what the name is but like its a sword dropped by providence and like omega blue armour for true melee and I wish you luck my friend :)

Tbh I like the idea of that second resprite fight, a slow moving super long worm boss that forces you to not go to high because otherwise it’ll probably just follow you up there and make the whole fight harder as a result

16:40 is the first version of the devourer I ever played, and this video really doesnt do it justice... not only was it REALLY difficult due to its insane speed and the damage of its head and lasers, but the lag was so bad that most people straight up couldnt even run the fight lmao

So, Calamity has a few gods, which are basically just people who absorbed the souls of dragons (which were kind of like gods before gods). Wrath of the Gods, an add-on for Calamity, adds the Nameless Deity, which is more than any of those gods. It is the literal God, as in the Creator himself.

it's certainly dogwater compared to Infernum DoG, but I can imagine myself having fun with the "purple destroyer" after beating Moon Lord, specially due to the huge lot of AoE you get from pre and post-Moon Lord weapons
