    Wow you certainly did time that well - quite exciting weather really. You should send some of that rain up to Moray in NE Scotland. We have had a sand storm here in the wind.

    I remember these 2 well. I had planned to do both Sept 2018. Meall Buidhe was exactly as you described, wet & slippery. I slipped 400m from the car park on the descent & broke ny ankle. I returned to do the other munro the next year as the 1st hike post break in March.

      I’m sure the video brought back some painful memories!… I’ve slipped twice in recent days…. Both times on grassy , wet muddy slopes…..the worries of Solo hiking!
