Speaking of the "Braver Expansion" speculation part, I do blame myself for thinking a little bit too far.
The dev team did say that they look at the class usage statistics and will attempt to provide balance adjustment accordingly, so the classes mentioned in NGS Headline was pretty justifiable. Techer does need some more oomph to it, Force needs something to pull it out from an absolute despair, and Hunter can use a bit more fine-tuning.
Braver, the goddamn "Katana" Bravers, may have a somewhat high class usage due to how it becomes after Kvaris patch update 1-2 years ago. But SEGA shouldn't be forgetting that the bow is also Braver weapons. Despite not being the representative of the class, bow will need some adjustment, so it can shine more.
At the very least, if Bouncer and Ranger (and even the upcoming Fighter) are getting their shiny effect on the PA, at least give some to us. I still have some hope seeing a good adjustment to the bow though. But, if nothing really happens when 2025 comes, then so be it...
We really have to atone for the sins of katana after all. It is what it is.

Even if they don't announce bow changes now
I think we will get more balance changes along with the october tech arts customization like how this second batch give us more changes to dimensional ray and some balance changes to the class. they can't call it a class changes if they don't give any changes to katana but yeah I want some fancy effects too lol
// somehow ryza is related to nanoha(1 of the 4 codes lol)
// bunny garden is a great game and I went to cuztomize my ngs character after watching some stream lol

honestly i think that braver needs an expansion more than hunter. it's wild to me that it's probably going to be the last one getting an expansion (since there's no shot waker and slayer are getting ones).

I'm using Reyaar Fatal 3 Bow/Katana and a mix of Einea Vida & Vio for units at the moment. Kinda too poor to switch into Winguard, the "best weapon series" in the game right now.
If you want a more accessible weapon at the moment, Xover from Leciel Exploration could do the job. Units are probably pretty cheap now, so you can get it from player shop.
The skill is just standard Braver stuff: you spend points in every single skill related to bow & katana mechanics, Braver Combat, and fill the remaining QoL skills like Resta PP Gain, Migthy Guard, and Slow Landing Bow.
For subclass, I often rotate around Slayer for general fights due to crits, Bouncer for Down/Breakable bosses, Force for heavy mobbing, and Ranger for specific boss fights (often group/public run if necessary).
Gear wise, I'm using the "original" version of all high end augments available in NGS at the moment across my gear pieces, which are as followed. Names may be slightly different depending on where you play, either Global translation or Fan Translation patch on JP server.
Grand Gigas Maste - Lux Halphinale - Gladier Soul - Grand Dread Keeper - Hikvar Domina - Edi Spimelra for Units and Edi Arm Parfait for the weapon.
Because Braver has "Special Augment Optimization Br", it will take the highest MELEE or RANGE potency, and apply that value to both type of attack, so you can choose one to spec in and keep the cost low. End game augments tend to provide All-type damage, so you might not have to worry much.
Newer players or those that don't want to pour in heavy investment can opt for "LC variants" or alternate, lesser version of those augment categories instead. Most stats are the same, except giving lower upfront % damage, which would be, for example:
Gigas Maste LC - Halphinale LC - Gladier Soul LC - Grand Dread Keeper LC - Hiael Domina LC - ????
where ??? can be ANY cheap affixes that you can find. Remember the Special Augment Optimization Br skill for this point though. Free gears from events tend to come with them.
Even at lesser augment variants, you should be looking at 70-ish % Floor Damage (most higher rarity weapon these days has 50% at base, and gets multiplied further with value from augments) and a decent amount of upfront damage (140-150% Range/Melee/Both, maybe?), and that will serve you well enough until you finally manage to make the true version some time later.
