I still have my MV-8000. I got it new somewhere around 2006. It came with the VGA expansion, and I upgraded the ram memory. I know several people personally, and read many comments about the MV being off beat, or that it didn't make sense. I never had any trouble with mine. I took time to learn how it worked and found that it was actually ahead of it's time. It's an older unit now technology-wise, but I can do anything on it that I can on the MPC units. Some steps may take longer on the MV compared to today's gear, but it can be done. I see you have the 8800 too. Both are classics! Hold onto them! Congrats!
Greetings: Its definitely an amazing box, I’m still surprised of all the things it can do. I still love my MPCs, but this box is special, in it’s own way. I only brought it, to learn something different an I’m so glad I did. Furthermore, one of the dopest things I like, is the ability to mix and master. I’m not a great mixer, so the mix and mastering presets really helps. Finally, it’s one of my top 5 go to drum machines and if I had to choose between my MPC 2000xl & 4000, I would choose the Roland MV… Thanks for watching!
That's a clean and beautiful machine. Congratulations. I still would like to get a MV8800 but I'm okay with my selection of MPCs, Roland SPs and Zoom ST for now. If another one becomes available locally at a good price then maybe I'll pull the trigger. Keep up the great works bro.
I appreciate that, the MV is a great box to explore. I’ve been using it for the last year and I’m amazed of what this thing can do… Thanks for watching!
This is a perfect time for Roland to jump back into the game and hit us with a new MV.
I agree

the vga link is the killer part
I would not buy one without the vga port and I’ve been trying to find the original MV8-OP1 Audio I/O Expansion. Thanks for watching!

It shouldn't take that long to load. You may want to upgrade the hard drive.
Greetings: When I loaded for the second time it took only about 30 seconds.
@@beataddiktgodd it loaded the demo song , i think thats why it took so long
