5:55 - 45th Anniversary Supergrade - Sport
Bill and his team have turned out a masterpiece...congratulations on 45 years
I LOVE the retro markings. The eagle swooping down and clutching a 1911 is in my opinion the most badass logo ever.
I think I'm going to start saving $100 per month, so by the Wilson 50th anniversary, I'll be able to buy a 50th anniversary Supergrade!
Congratulations on 45 years, folks! How proud you must feel to stay in the firearms business for so long and still stay true to your roots!
My oh my! Now would be a good time to win that lotto!
I have the 20th Anniversary Super Grade model. Only 20 made. I have put a set of Mammoth Ivory grips on it. Stunning pistol.
Ohhh Boy!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!
Back about 86 I bought a new, early Springfield Armory 45. The thing had a heavy trigger and it grouped like a shotgun. I went back to the shop and they sent it to Novaks to have some improvement done. Trigger job and Barsto for decent combat groups. They told me Ken test fired it after they worked it over. At that time I don't think I knew who Ken was though.
Those two guns are drop dead gorgeous. I’ve never been able to afford a Wilson Combat pistol but I have a Colt Government Model that is full of Wilson Combat parts. My dealings with your company have always been first class. Congrats on 45 years.
Sir congrats on 45years! Wish I could afford a gun like that. Absolutely gorgeous! 🤠
A pair of beautiful 1911s. I could never own one though, as I know I would never be able to resist shooting it and shooting it often.
Best of the best. NOBODY does it like Wilson Combat.
Congratulations mr. Wilson on 45 years. The two tone looks like the one I bought from a guy back in 93. Most accurate 1911 I've ever shot.
Well done Mr Wilson. You and your team have out done yourselves with these two beautiful weapons. Congratulations on 45 years.
Congrats on 45!
So the question Bill is did Ken give the first pistol back to you? He was hanging onto it pretty tight! 😂🤣
I was waiting for Bill to say, by the way, this is for you
Wow. This channel is really taking off. It’s because of the quality speakers, the good production quality, the good set quality, and the excellent thumbnails.
Beautiful weapons !
Man those are some beautiful works of art!
Wow! to have a Supergrade that looks like what I dreamed of when I first started shooting IPSC. And yes on the Bar-Sto for that Supergrade. Wilson barrel may be just as good but Bar-Sto was the gold standard back in the day. I was a very happy camper when I picked up my first Bar-Sto barrel for a 1911 off a match prize table.
Congratulations! Like the saying goes, "youre an overnight sensation after 45 years"
Meaning you put in a lot of long hard work to get where you are. Beautiful 1911!
Wow, thank you!
OMG, I built an old '43 colt using the same parts back in the day. Although in my basement and it wasn't as nice as this. Kudos
Ken we need to see more of you I know you are semi retired we all know that doesn't mean a damn thing we need to see you shooting big shout out from eastern North Carolina lobe all of you god bless stay safe
Semper Fi
Mike
Bill & Ken, I have a Davis” Realist International” holster from 1980,and a Thad Rybka roughout leather Rhodesian holster for my Colt Govt.
Wow! Spectacular I’m in love.
All I can say is Wow. Watched this with watery eyes. Craftsmanship and Team work. Congrats.
45 Thumbs up from me!
Wow, thank you!
One word AWESOME💪💪👍👍🤯
AMAZING PISTOLS
That guitar gets me every time
Bill , you are truly an asset to the building of awesome 1911s! Thank you for your hard work.👍
Your guns are the top of the line, Ill never be able to afford one due to my recent retirement but they are some of the most beautiful auto pistols I have ever seen. Thank you for your attention to detail and willingness to do what has to be done to to stay on top!!
I purchased both the supergrade and the regular 45th anniversary model in February from my local Wilson Combat dealer. Beautiful well crafted weapons!
3:12 pure masterpiece 🥰
Love you guys!🇵🇷
Am I the only one who loves the guitar outro?
Simply a "masterpiece" !!!
I've got to get another 1911 soon. The wife wants one too she hollard at me life is good.
Congratulations on your 45 year's
I was working for Pachmayr back in the early 80's and had them build a .45 ACP for me. I have the test target showing that the gun will shoot a 1" group at 25 yards. Or maybe it was 50 yards, I don't remember now. But I still have the gun, and it will be interesting to compare it with the 45th Anniversary, which I have ordered from Wilson. The one thing I don't quite agree on is the trigger. Back in the day, the triggers were solid aluminum, they didn't have the 3 holes drilled in them. I think that came along a bit later on. I'm just hoping that Wilson gets my 45th Anniversary model built some time this year.
Wow, very nice, first class, thanks
Back in my day . . . . .
Congratulations Mr. Wilson, its not surprising you are 45 years in business you keep on your current path and Wilson Combat will be here for way more years to come, I will only buy Wilson Combat firearms they are like potato chips once you get one that's all you want is more. God bless you all Sir.
What a beautiful work of art, Mr. Wilson knotted this one out of the park.
I'm listening
That is an absolutely gorgeous pistol!!
Safari Arms made some great guns for sure, interesting history with WACO actually.
Man those are awesome!!!
Awesome looking guns! 👍❤️👍
Very nice and well made pistols 45 years is a long time much has been learned and experianced
Congratulations Bill! 10,000$ jeez..out of my price range ha. I'll be sticking to my glock 17 gen 3 and glock 22 .40s&w. 180 grain Speergolddot for the glock 22 and 124+p Speergolddot for the glock 17 (federal 115+p+) also. I rotate ammo. For my rugerlcp.380 my primary ammo is 90 grain sig sauer v-crown defense. Cheers 🥃
I love two tone guns. That hard chrome frame and blued slide has always tripped my trigger! You should make that available. I see Springfield and Kimber are making two tone guns. They may be coming back.
They do look great. These two proud gay men sure have a history together.
LOVE the blue and grips. I would prefer smooth top and blued trigger but a beautiful gun !
Nice looking pistol. My friend bought one and seeing it close up was impressive.
Need those Burl Ironwood scales
Beautiful
Thank you
Really nice work, 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
This is going to be a dandy!!!
I neeed this pistol.
Congratulations Bill on 45 years ! Kindly to compare with the "Wilson Combat Pinnacle" showing the specifics of the Pinnacle. I checked your youtube channel and, unless i am mistaken, I didn't find anything regarding the "Pinnacle". Thank you !
Got to believe they are already sold-out!
Best to ya',,,,!
Man I want both
Beautiful pieces. Can you share your stories of early on? We’re there some makes that you replaced X item on immediately?
Congratulations on 45 years. Those 2 examples are beautiful. I have a crazy question, what kind d of guitar is being played on the introduction and closing. It has a beautiful sound. Being a guitar player too.
So I want one.
Absolutely Beautiful 😍 🤩
Thank you! 😊
Massad always says you read these comments for ideas for future videos. My question is how to carry and conceal anything bigger than a g42 / 43 when I only weigh 135 at 5'8. I'd like to see an answer in a video.
Had a Series 70 Government that I bought new in '74. tough trigger, empties peening on one side during ejection.poor sights...Threw it in a drawer, left it there until '82...Took it out, looked at it.. said "I'm gonna find somebody to tweak this thing..Sent it to Wilson Combat,, they went all thru it. Came back two-tone...Commander hammer, the Bomar, target trigger,, etc, etc, ...thing hasn't missed a beat since then..
$10,000 for the serial #45 of 45.
It would be nice for my first Wilson combat gun.
May have to sell one of the kids.
Saw that Wilson discontinued a lot of models recently including my favorite edc9. Can we still order new barrels and parts and have custom work done on these models?
I am fro Turkey My nmae is Ugur .Belive me you are god of the pistols(ı love your all 1911
I'd like to see a Wilson Combat revolver 🔫 will it ever happen 🙏💰🇺🇸💪😎
Ken: a few videos ago you listed a 9mm handload you like for 115 grain jacketed bullets: can you please respond with what powder & how many grains? Much appreciated.
I wonder if they are hiring at Wilson Combat?
How come Wilson does not have eagle anymore on slides.
❤😊
I prefer Les Baer 911x. Does WILSON guaranty 1 1/2 accuracy at 50 yard, like Les Baer.
I’m 1998, I sent a Colt series 80 Government Model .45 to Wilson’s for a trigger job and some light customization. When it was returned to me a few months later, it had all the work done that I ordered….. plus a very noticeable idiot mark on the frame where the slide stop turned on the radius, the usual idiot mark place. Furious, I called Wilson’s customer service and told them about their blemish, and the very unconcerned employee told me that it was probably from the high school kid they employed to clean the guns after test firing, and to just send it back and they’d polish it out. I declined, and just polished the idiot mark out with some Mother’s Metal Polish. That transaction left a bad taste in my mouth for Wilson Combat.
What’s in store for the 50th anniversary?🤩
Would be funny if they were WC barrels marked Barstow
I cant get layed in a bordello with a bag of bananas and most of your guest handle more wife swapping guns in a week than I have in my life lol I ain't not hero lol 🤣😆
How much do these cost?
Bump
That’s a Beauty.
💫🔫✌🏼🔫💫
AAA1
I wonder who has gun #0001 in both guns???
Nice gun but I would rather invest in a 338 Lapua for the $ 4,000 + Tax they are listing it as and maybe those dealers may want even more money.
I looked up one #45 of 45 the dealer had it listed $9999.
I'm 99% sure you safety checked the hand guns before the video. At 36 seconds in your finger is covering the end of the barrell , at 44-117-205-245-254 look where you're pointing. At 254 is as far as I could watch . Personally I would have a problem with you pointing a gun at me loaded or not.
Trouble is if you ever use that gun for what is intended for you will be losing it to the police. As far as I know guns get confiscated id involved in a shooting even if defence. The only reason I would have one of these is for aesthetic purpose
I've a perhaps silly or even stupid question twenty years ago I shot over at the range there I used a browning hi power and also a ed brown 45. I hear y'all talk about every gun on the planet yet it was like everyone is copying the browning hi power yet know one talks about it. To me it's hands down the best what the hell is up with all that smoke n bullshit
Classic Pickle 🥒!
I've noticed that several of the subscribers including myself have some kind of noticed from the Wilson channel about some kind of offer, just wondering if this is some kind of scam...
Scam, yea, I almost bit...
Lastly everyone wants more round poof the 30 super just completely pooped on 9mm 4ever exna on the round counta
And believe me I know money talks n bullshit walks lol 🤣😆
450 total or 450 in 9 and 450 in 45
450 Total + 45 Supergrades
Most people celebrate the "25th Anniversary" then the "50th"....etc. :)
To mark your 60th ...i'm hoping you won't be doing a "retro-style" gun but as gun that showcases your latest and greatest ideas and using the best possible materials available e.g. steels, grip material, internal parts...look into using Titanium, carbon fobre.....gold bead fromt sight.....should also have etched o the slide when you opened shop to the current date.........the gun should also be in a high quality wood box/glass lid.....not some cardboard box or ecen a typical platic case...heh
Mmmm hmmm nine-teen-ellebuns mmm hmmmm, I wasn't sleepin I was restin' my eyes! Now go get a paper route and cut some grass or shovel snow to cover that inflation! Kids these days mmmm hmmm
Do you even shoot such a gun?
And sorry I did have one more question how come everyone talks about all the advancement In bullet tech and say the 9mm in all it's one million new B's sales vinue the holy grail Humm compared to a 45 from the year in our loard 1911 wake up America believe it or not the 45 acp has actually got some up dates too lol 🤣😆
Why in the world would anybody want to buy that gun?
So bill if your listoning even your new gun has it's roots in the hi power man what is wrong with the hi power and don't give me no mag disconnect bullshit
Poof there it is
And wile I'm on my soap box I defend the 45 mostly from people's stupidity. It much like a 308 and ironic a 308 caused 450smc. The 45 and shoot poody tat 9 mm loads at the range yet pretty much completely duplicate 10mm hot stuff baby Humm. I know the truth never sales but y'all are the gun G roos lol. So please explain the missing links
