Thank you .. I tried to run the install manually but experienced different issues each time. Then following your lead I got the install completed using the painless Quick Create approach.
After login in 4:06 the system lock on bluescreen, I don't know why =/

found it! when you are in the login screen and you signed in you go full screen and out of full screen, select view in hyper v menu and turn of extended version @@leflyingcarpet

WRONG! you do not need Win 11, hyper V is in Win 10!

Fullscreen is not working, I installed Ubuntu 22.04 from the quick create option of hyper-v. Enabling the Enhanced session mode shows a xorg login dialogue box. But login credentials doesn't work there and gives "display 0" error.
I am losing my mind now. Please help.
edit- I did all the things you shown in the video. Tried changing resolution inside ubuntu as well.

What is difference between WSL & HYPER
Indeed WSL uses the hyper V architecture packaged as *Virtual Machine Platform*. The difference between between WSL and Hyper V, is the ability that hyper V allows the end user to interact with GUI seamlessly. It's a complete machine with an fully working operating system.
WSL on the other side is kinda running as an app, which is very fast and allows you to quickly get access to bash and interact with terminal and WSLG helps in rendering the GUI apps. WSL is integrated with Windows 11or 10.

my hyper v is not detecting the sound output in VM (windows server, ubuntu, kali, parrot). Any thoughts?
Hyper-V doesn't support sound for Linux. Oracle Virtual Box does support but it is so crappy that I can't stand it for a minute.
Apple hypervisor vs Hyper V which one do you think runs ubuntu smoother ?
Apple HyperVisor or Apple Virtualisation only supports macOS at present which is 10 types faster than HYPER-V.
Apple yet to extend that support to run Linux and windows 11.

Under the hood, WSL uses HyperV to run linux.
