Yes I miss lots of eighties music more than anything now even though I grew up listening to 60's and 70's music.

This was my first time listening to this song. I was born in 1996 and since I was 3 I’ve loved Depeche Mode, and I thought I’d never love a band more than DM…..I was wrong. Pseudo Echo, I love you so much 😭😭😭 I can’t stop listening to this damn song. 🎧
    Thank you for existing.

wish I was 22 again even though I was broke all the time and feeling alienated from the world but I wasn't the only one who felt that way then.

Actually the music sounds really great still today. Really strong. I think where they went wrong was the 'artistic' approach at the time to the video which is incredibly dated. The song itself stands up beautifully some 30 years later....

They were determined to be 'modern' and they went to clubs where girls danced and guys who didn't listen to Cold Chisel followed. I was a failed bogan so I looked for an alternative and liked the keyboard bass lines. Still, it was a hard sell, cause when I changed tracks into a more university scene a more vintage retro '60s scene was already flourishing, and so these guys were a joke to them too. But for a brief period in between , say 1984, before I discovered the joy of pastiche Hoodoo Gurus or Johnnys I loved that keyboard sound. And now, after all these years, they and their approach has aged really well and stand proud and honest. Wierd that...cause they seemed so phoney and fluffy before they put on their leather jackets

the video is pure 80s style, but is there any infos or notes on making of this particular video? From arts history perspective, for example?

Molly Meldrum has so much to pay for - this was trite garbage, the 'B' side was awesome, but... gotta perform what the people think they want (Molly)... Brian, Pierre and Tony wrote/performed some of the best New Romantic music to come out of Melbourne in the eighties... Shame some of their best remembered songs are the thinnest of their repertoire..
We had our differences, but you guys where inspiring
