I did not do drugs/drink or hit the streets but I do smoke cigarettes since I was 11. it was my comfort. Abused victims look for something they can control. I am 50 years old & the scars are still deep. DMX knows he's fighting demons within him & its a struggle. I completely understand his pain. We wish we could go back & change everything, but its too late. My mother is dead & I do not visit her grave. This gives me comfort. I would feel like a hypocrite if I do. Not everything is always about forgiving when the scars are there which pop up every once in awhile.
