- The Uncharted series has finally arrived on PC and PS5 with the Remastered versions of Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy. But the multiplayer was excluded from this port and it’s really got me thinking about how underrated this multiplayer is. Let’s discuss what made this mode so overlooked and if we will ever see an Uncharted 5 Multiplayer in the future…

Facts I totally agree. I wish that they can add the uncharted 2 and 3 multiplayers to the uncharted Nathan drake collection as an update so that we can experience the fun again

@@markbrix9385 Old doesn't necessarily mean bad. I remember rushing home from school playing uncharted 2 and uncharted 3 all evening. Such a goated multiplayer and way better than uncharted 4
What I disliked the most is that they got rid of the power weapon and especially grenade spawns on the map. I also wished they would have brought back more of the old maps like London Underground or Museum to name a few

Bruh I recognized players from across the world, the ones I respected, the ones I had grudge with, before matches in the lobby. We felt like true outlaws 🤣🤣😂
Uncharted 3/4 and TLOU were and some of my most favorite MP experiences in my 20 years of gaming
The Hunters summon always scared me, especially their heavy breathing when they get closer.
Still think Uncharted 2 is the king of the Uncharted series multiplayer attempts.
Uncharted has a special place in my heart. I wish there was more games coming :(

Uncharted 3 Multiplayer was the best. What I’d do to go back in time to spend an evening playing back in its prime… The maps were all so well made: Yemen, Syria, Airstrip, Chateau, London Underground, Highrise, Facility… Damn.

I have high hopes for the next uncharted mp, if it isn't long lasting like u2 and u3 idk if I can stay a fan for longer.
I grew up on u3 at the time it was 2018 so I was very late but it was still fun, I got good in a year and got max legacy the game was so fun and challenging.
U2 was not my fav but it was something I played a lot just to see how much has changed, uncharted is my fav franchise and I wish u4 got the same treatment as the older games.
My hope is that with sony giving more attention to multiplayer games it could help ND develop a longer lasting uncharted entry. This may come at a cost though as they may have to implement some popular multiplayer modes like battle royales into the mix

Main gripes I had with UC4 multi-player was that the gameplay seemed to try and mimic TLOU Factions a lot, that's not what made UC3 multi-player. They technically did have Classic TDM, but it doesn't have all the same movement and options like UC3. I miss sprinting.
The only other issue I really had was that there didn't seem to be much put into balancing the game. Now at the time that updates were put into the game, I didn't understand what patch notes were, so I wouldn't have known if anything was changed. But after playing again recently, I wish that some guns were nerfed before everyone went to TLOU2. It gets really old when whole lobbies are using whatever downs you in 0.2 seconds.
Gotta hope that the implementation of microtransactions is much improved for Factions 2

Its fun, just not as fun as the U2 and 3 multiplayer. When i played the beta it was so fun, but when the full game dropped there were no other game modes. They completely dropped all the popular game modes and even coop adventure. The coop survival was very fun but came out super late. There was no other support. Not much customization like U3, not a lot of skins. Its a great multiplayer, but compared to the others which were shut down, its just disappointing that they didnt add any of the old modes. Imo they should have added u2/3 multiplayer on the nathan drake collection.
Agree and a missed opportunity to just simply bring all the work from UC 2 and 3 Multiplayer over!

Yes that’s very true and I don’t know what the harm would have been to give the multiplayer a little resurgence
The lost legacy update was the last and only bring skins for Chloe and Nadine and Asav as a new playable character, there weren't bring a new map. I was waiting for that and a map were you can use a car, literally since they show us the car drive chase i was expecting the inclusion of cars in MP, and the lab maps from U3

That sucks that there is no weapon pick ups that used to give me a reason to run to certain locations. This has put me off buying the game on pc because i mainly wanted it for multiplayer. I saw a new map and it did look boring

I think the strong aim assist is partly what makes it bad - and people (even the old fans from U3 amd U2) never really noticed that. It simply reduces the skill gap dramatically - in uncharted 3 mp you could take on multiple people at a time if you were really good and they weren't, in U4 MP this is much harder because it's so easy for everybody hits their shots ...
That and some other very questionable design decisions by ND lead to me quitting this MP after a few months, even though I played U3 MP endlessly and was hyped for the MP in part 4
I always felt it was a huge waste because with a few simple changes it could have been so much better ...

Are the servers on ps4 shutdown as well ? I searched this to see if people still play it and to see if can play it on ps5. Damn didn't even knew it Is no more. This was the most addicting multi-player game I ever played on ps4 and a close second I'd say is uncharted 3 multi-player. Thankful that I got to experience it.
Uncharted 4 MP is still alive and active on ps4 and ps5 but not in the recent legacy remaster. Only Uncharted 2 and 3 MPs have been shut down on ps3.

I think the multiplayer mode has some serious potential if it ever came to PC.

💯😐😐😐 I am so mad they did not include the Multiplayer in the remastered. Couldnt even imagine Microsoft doing this with halo or activation for Call of Duty®. But Sony has done twice already in the same year! Uncharted Remastered and The Last of Us Part 1…. And they still charging $70 for it. Less content and raising the price.
The leadership of Sony are F’ING idiots. No wonder all the good ceos left Sony in 2018 and 2019. Head of Sony CEO Jim Ryan still thinks that $70 single player games that last 15hours is the future of gaming.
It's probably a victim also of Factions 2.0. Seems like it got abandoned very quickly.

Uncharted 3 Multiplayer was underrated, Uncharted 4 is nowadays so bad that no one enjoys it, aimbot, speedglitch, grenadepartycheat, and even wallbreaches, and a few mytics and cheaper booster to get heavy weapons even faster or mystics or grenades is also like a advance cheat, U3 has only a kickback that u have to earn it and not to pay for cheaper boosting stuff, I played U4 now since release it was ok and fine at first for 2-3/4 years but then it goes into the ruins and by ND they never patching or supporting the Multiplayer and there is so much that u could do with Uncharted and they just give up, and the last of us the new multiplayer will also be a pain in de ass after a few years I promise ! its only a singleplayer developercompany I hope U5 doesnt have any Multiplayer in the future, I would say support epicgames even more then the old Uncharted MP its just a lost game. And Iam good at this game so it even more hurts to see what happend
For someone who has played over 1200 hours of it let me tell you the UC4 multiplayer is something of cheaters paradise. Modded controllers is used alot, speed glitches, and environment glitches ruins the experience and the competition side of it. It's not as glory then it's counterparts. Here's my observations and have noticed the game needs more patches I mean alot:
1. Lag, the latency is terrible, 15hz tickrate is ridiculous especially for this type of a cover shooter.
2. Bullets turning around corners..for why does bullets always turn while your completely behind cover or a wall.
3. Do not Roll or Jump..another pointless thing to do in this game. It's absolutely ridiculous when grenades or mine explodes and you roll or jump in time mind you you still get hit again this has to do with the tickrate so it's rather pointless.
4. Weapon stats doesn't make sense. Shotguns have this magic range that acts like a sniper I mean you can be far away and the enemy can down you in 3 shots. Certain handguns have a faster fire rate when the stats say otherwise like the Ageis.
5. China LK and Hunters..these need more LP for there is no way around the China Lake and Hunters are just op I mean I could put a whole clip and still get grabbed.
6. Homing grenades, yes these things tend to follow your direction placement. If thrown to the left and you move to the right the grenades will move to the right and this not a joke either I've tested it out.
7. Annoying Slow Motion Jumps..like what's with this? Jumping off a rock or tower ur character does this weird slow motion action cinematic.
8. Sticky walls..don't you dare roll next to the wall when being shot at boy those walls are not ur friend they'll make you get down and KOed. Bullets have this weird blocking invisible wall so you can escape the crossfire.
9. Late Matches..this sucks due to ppl leaving the matches and you get suck on the losing team like 30 to 9 for an example and you get someone saying stuff "You didn't help the team leave and delete ur game. Like how is that their fault?
10. Ledge grab/Melee/rope..for whatever reason you can space between the other player and for but you get hit still or if an enemy player is hanging off ledge and you get away just in time the game will give the enemy player a pull down like some jedi.
11. Automatically canceled grenade..before you get KOed and you throw the grenade button on time before dying the game will cancel ur throw acting like you never threw it.
I know this been a rant but as the experience from over 1200 hours I've seen strange and unfair gameplay with Uc4.
bro you literally have loot boxes and the worse part about it is gambling between a weapon color, accessories you don’t want or a character color. the grinding process is ridiculously terrible. the changes in combat and sidekicks drastically changes the game, matchmaking is terrible then the co-op has absolutely no story at all. there’s no dlc no updates nothing. the customization that was advertised when this game came out is was not what we gotten. this was a let down. everytime i play this game from time to time, i have the reacquiring problem with feeling exhausted from not being able to enjoy this game fully. i always get reminded that i don’t have the guns i want, outfits or even the satisfaction from grinding this game. for now i play this when i have absolutely nothing to play at all. also the hit n roll combo on uncharted 3 is unbeatably perfect.
also i feel it would’ve made more sense to keep the leveling system the same as uncharted 3 why not put the level kap at 75 to prestige to earn more items?
I only like your videos because they are thoughtful and your voice is good. And you have good insights and you're funny. And the gameplay is fun to watch and you are honest. But no booba so I give you a 69 out of 420. Try better next time.

I don’t know, I thought it was and still is terrible. So many No-skill gimmicks and awful implementations. Does not feel like Uncharted. Just feels like a drag.
To me it might have done better if it somehow wasn’t Uncharted but a new multiplayer
