Like he has been getting help from the league to combat Lebron James and his influence ( earlier when James left and the Cavaliers were a franchise that looked to be 6 feet under because James left ( at the time it was nearly unprecedented for a huge star franchise player leave without internal team conflicts ( like Shaquille O'Neal with "Penny" Hardaway) and decide to join up with other star players giving free agent players all the leverage); and now that James had helped recruit Davis to LA giving Griffin something to help sell Davis to New Orleans).
