This scene may be one of the greatest scenes in filming history. All of the story that was built up during the movie's run time including the story of defending his two separate families, his military family in Iraq and his own family at home along with the build up with scenes that show his support to fellow veterans and his love to his family all just bare down on you when that final message comes up "Chris Kyle was killed that day by a veteran he was trying to help." He died doing what he loved, helping his fellow veterans. Leaving behind his family who would had an eventful evening if he didn't die. Connecting this scene with the actual the imagery of the funeral of the real Chris Kyle help bring home the fact that the story is based on that soldiers real overcoming. This is why this scene touches me inside so hard and why I can't watch this part without crying. To me this is why I love this movie so much. It gives all this build up with gruelling scenes and intense action set pieces to this emotional ending and that is why I love this scene. I remember seeing this in theatres and was completely blown away by how amazing it is and this scene made it even more amazing. I've never been in a theatre that was the quiet during the end credits. Everyone including myself were crying our eyes out. I walked out of the movie in stunned silence by its perfection. Chris Kyle is a true hero and deserves nothing less, RIP MR. Kyle you are missed and an inspiration.
