Carnival in Den Bosch | Feest in OETELDONK 2024

Hi guys! This time we're taking you to the city of Den Bosch or better known these days as OETELDONK!!! Every year the Netherlands celebrates its carnival during February. It is mainly celebrated in the eastern and southern parts of the country and each city goes out of their way to make it epic, throwing parades, parties, taking on their streets with their best carnival uniforms and traditions, having fun, letting themselves loose and just getting drunk. The first day of Carnaval is six weeks before Easter Sunday and it officially begins on Sunday lasting three days until the start of Lent's first day, Ash Wednesday, at midnight.
We had a blast and we'd totally recommend joining this Dutch traditional celebration!

Hi guys! We are Bea and Wouter (or Chilena con Dutchie 🤭). Bea from Chile 🇨🇱 was born and raised in Santiago, between Peñalolén and Renca, and Wouter from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 was born and raised in The Hague. We met in September 2021 and it didn’t take us that long to know we wanted to be together. It hasn’t been easy (we’ll tell you more about it soon 😮) but the love we have for each other makes everything possible and totally worth it.
