- This week we visit Den Bosch, capital of Northern Brabant (Noord-Brabant) in the Netherlands. It's the province I was born and raised, and I love it to be back :D Great place to visit the Netherlands off the beaten track

Places we visited.
Hotel: We stayed at Hotel Central, beautiful old building on the market square. Good room, friendly people and amazing breakfast!
Sweets:
Tum Tum Old Dutch Candystore - my favorite since I was a little kid
Zammateo - where you get some of the best Italian icecream you ever tasted
Bossche Bol - Jan de Groot. Duh, he is famous! The sweets in his shop seriously sell out, sometimes you have to order them. But they got them on many terraces.
Going for lunch: Korte Putstraat. Cute little street, also great at night!
St. Janskathedraal - amazing by day and beautiful by night.
NOTE 2016 is the year of Jeroen Bosch (Jeroen Boschjaar) since he died 500 years ago. Some special events are happening this period :)

This was better than 100% of the shows I've seen on Nat Geo recently. Great production & narration. Jeroen Bosch's artwork is so interesting & bizarre. I like that their is a touch of him around the town. V cool

Hahahaha, Tum Tum is the place where the child inside will be excited from morning till evening! I literally saw multiple children get dragged out of the place by their parents. 'BUT I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE'

Hello, I went to Den Bosch this weekend. Unfortunately, that most famous paining has already been transferred back to Spain. So we can only saw the fake one in the art center. But it was still fun! We also caught up with the light show, that is really fantastic! It is a nice city! Thanks for the video.
By the way, do you know where is this painting exactly? Really want to see the real one. :)

Leuk dat Den Bosch goed gepromoot wordt. Alleen is een (groot) deel van de video niet meer kloppend. Zo kan je de Sint-Jan niet meer op en is de 'Bosch by Night' al lang niet meer te zien...

Oef, hard question. What is expensive? It's cheaper than Amsterdam I am sure, but Amsterdam is insanely expensive. Would find it hard to name a concrete price really - I never lived in Den Bosch

Way better. Those two are ugly cities. This one is pretty.
If you like historical sites then yes. However, Eindhoven and especially Tilburg have great cultural festivals and more modernistic and brutalist architecture.

Wat jammer dat je continu de naam Den Bosch gebruikt, terwijl de formele naam toch echt 's-Hertogenbosch is, hiervoor is zelfs een stichting.
In de spreektaal toch vaak den bosch genoemd? Dat gaat naar den bosch toe 😉
Net als dat t in Uje en Uden allebei goed kerse eten is - geloof k ook wel dat er meerdere wegen naar den bosch kunnen leiden 😊😊
daarbij is de naam den bosch ouder dan 's-Hertogenbosch
