Seriously though, wrexham is one of the only show of late that I’ve found funny, generally fun, upbeat, human, AND emotionally compelling. Having all of that is what makes a show so good
And not just that...but there are genuine stakes. It's entertaining, but it's still a chronicle of the new rise of a fallen team and the community around it. Those poor people got shafted so hard by previous team managers...it's a travesty. Ryan and Rob have genuinely done a good thing.
