Just had a concussion 1 week a go from biking. This came at the right time!

Thank you for this. I got hit head on at 55mph in 2005, since my helmet didn’t have any marks on it and I had a 2 week gap in my insurance the ER didn’t really check my head, long story short years later I started having seizures.

I also had an undiagnosed concussion. I wish you well in the journey.

Great video. The discussion over concussions actually brought a tear to my eye while I was riding.(Disclaimer-TBI after an accident with another cyclist during an Ironman race)

This is a great resource. One of my friends just had a fall and suffered a concussion. it was very helpful to have this as a resource to share with her. I also shared it with my coach. Thank you. It would be helpful if you could provide us with a link to a document containing the return to activities protocol Hannah laid out so well.

Hmm... Hannah was likely referring to a protocol within her medical field, we definitely recommend your friend (an anyone) check in with their primary care provider or doctor before returning to activities to make sure they get a professional and well-informed 'all clear'. :)

@@TrainerRoad But of course. I took her to the ED yesterday. She is following up with her Primary Care doc. I just thought that a summary of the protocol would be helpful as a supplement to her medical care.

Watching now! Hopefully there’s something about “fixing” up concussion related symptoms long after the event and undiagnosed.
I literally was in a dream for a week, forgot how to tie my shoes and had unbelievable headaches doing simple tasks. I also forgot how to connect what I was thinking into actions; very horrible!
